PROPUESTA DE IIC BOOK CLUB: \"A THEORY OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. BEYOND THE INTANGIBLE\"<\/h3>\n

El IIC Book Club<\/strong>, iniciativa del International Institute for Conservation (IIC)<\/strong> dedicada a la lectura y el debate en torno a publicaciones sobre patrimonio cultural y su conservaci\u00f3n, ha anunciado el libro elegido para este semestre: A Theory of Cultural Heritage. Beyond the Intangible<\/em>, del investigador y conservador Salvador Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as<\/strong>, quien adem\u00e1s es colaborador de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Esta selecci\u00f3n representa un reconocimiento a la contribuci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica y te\u00f3rica de Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as en el \u00e1mbito de la conservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio. Su libro plantea una perspectiva innovadora sobre la conceptualizaci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural, desafiando la dicotom\u00eda tradicional entre lo tangible y lo intangible. A trav\u00e9s de su an\u00e1lisis, el autor propone una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s hol\u00edstica e integradora, abordando la complejidad de los valores culturales y su influencia en los procesos de conservaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El IIC Book Club<\/strong> funciona como un espacio de di\u00e1logo donde los participantes tienen la oportunidad de explorar y debatir ideas clave en la conservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio. En ocasiones, estos encuentros cuentan con la participaci\u00f3n del propio autor y otros expertos, lo que enriquece la experiencia de los lectores y favorece el intercambio de perspectivas especializadas.<\/p>\n

Desde la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural<\/strong>, se celebra esta elecci\u00f3n, destacando el impacto del trabajo de Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as en la formaci\u00f3n de nuevas generaciones de conservadores y en la reflexi\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica sobre la protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio. Esta iniciativa refuerza el compromiso con la divulgaci\u00f3n del conocimiento y la generaci\u00f3n de espacios de debate en torno a los desaf\u00edos contempor\u00e1neos de la conservaci\u00f3n cultural.<\/p>\n

PROPOSAL FOR THE IIC BOOK CLUB: \"A THEORY OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. BEYOND THE INTANGIBLE\"<\/h3>\n

The IIC Book Club<\/strong>, an initiative of the International Institute for Conservation (IIC)<\/strong> dedicated to the reading and discussion of publications on cultural heritage and its conservation, has announced the book chosen for this semester: A Theory of Cultural Heritage. Beyond the Intangible<\/em><\/strong>, by the renowned researcher and conservator Salvador Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as<\/strong>, who is also a collaborator of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n

This selection represents a recognition of the academic and theoretical contribution of Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as in the field of heritage conservation. His book proposes an innovative perspective on the conceptualization of cultural heritage, challenging the traditional dichotomy between the tangible and the intangible. Through his analysis, the author proposes a more holistic and integrative vision, addressing the complexity of cultural values and their influence on conservation processes.<\/p>\n
