La C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum UPV colabora con el proyecto \"Tejiendo Derechos\" en un taller de tintes naturales<\/h3>\n

El pasado jueves 27 de marzo, la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV) particip\u00f3 en el proyecto \"Tejiendo Derechos\" mediante un taller de tintes naturales. La sesi\u00f3n, de dos horas de duraci\u00f3n, permiti\u00f3 a las asistentes explorar las posibilidades creativas de dise\u00f1os exclusivos a trav\u00e9s del uso de tintes naturales en textiles.<\/p>\n

Esta actividad estuvo dirigida a mujeres de Senegal y Nigeria, bajo el amparo de la Red Aminata<\/a>, una organizaci\u00f3n comprometida con la prevenci\u00f3n y erradicaci\u00f3n de la mutilaci\u00f3n genital femenina y la violencia de g\u00e9nero. La iniciativa forma parte de un programa m\u00e1s amplio que busca fomentar la inclusi\u00f3n, el empoderamiento y la defensa de los derechos fundamentales de las mujeres en situaci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidad.<\/p>\n

\"Tejiendo Derechos\"<\/a> es un proyecto impulsado por la Asociaci\u00f3n ARTE<\/a> y cofinanciado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea y Oxfam Interm\u00f3n. Su objetivo principal es combatir las desigualdades mediante la formaci\u00f3n en costura y la promoci\u00f3n de habilidades que contribuyan a la autonom\u00eda de las participantes. La iniciativa se desarrolla en las instalaciones de la Cooperativa Cocosint, bajo la coordinaci\u00f3n de Julia Pla, fundadora de Tot\u00f3 by Costureo y ganadora del Premio Empresa Diversa I 2023 por su compromiso con la inclusi\u00f3n y la diversidad.<\/p>\n

El proyecto tambi\u00e9n cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Noelia Coll Bad\u00ed, cofundadora de Voramar Fanplastic<\/a>, una iniciativa de moda sostenible y circular que reutiliza materiales para la creaci\u00f3n de bolsos. La formaci\u00f3n en costura est\u00e1 a cargo de Mar\u00eda Cristina Bravo Guti\u00e9rrez, fundadora del Studio Bravo Design<\/a>, quien aporta su experiencia en dise\u00f1o y confecci\u00f3n textil. Adem\u00e1s, la sesi\u00f3n del jueves cont\u00f3 con el apoyo de una trabajadora social, con el objetivo de\u00a0brindar apoyo emocional y acompa\u00f1amiento a las beneficiarias, fortaleciendo su bienestar integral.<\/p>\n

Con estas acciones, \"Tejiendo Derechos\" sigue avanzando en su misi\u00f3n de generar oportunidades para mujeres en situaci\u00f3n de riesgo, promoviendo la autonom\u00eda y la inclusi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la creatividad y la formaci\u00f3n profesional.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

UNESCO Forum UPV Chair Collaborates with the 'Weaving Rights' Project in a Natural Dye Workshop<\/h3>\n

On Thursday, March 27, the UNESCO Forum University and Cultural Heritage Chair at the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV) participated in the 'Weaving Rights' project through a natural dye workshop. The two-hour session allowed participants to explore the creative possibilities of exclusive designs using natural dyes on textiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

This activity was aimed at women from Senegal and Nigeria in collaboration with the Red Aminata<\/a>, an organization committed to preventing and eradicating female genital mutilation and gender-based violence. The initiative is part of a broader program that seeks to promote inclusion, empowerment, and the defence of fundamental rights for women in vulnerable situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

'Weaving Rights'<\/a> is a project led by the Asociaci\u00f3n ARTE<\/a> and co-financed by the European Union and Oxfam Interm\u00f3n. Its primary goal is to combat inequalities through training in sewing and the promotion of skills that contribute to the economic autonomy of participants. The initiative takes place at the Cocosint Cooperative facilities, coordinated by Julia Pla, founder of Tot\u00f3 by Costureo and winner of the Empresa Diversa I 2023 Award for her commitment to inclusion and diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project also benefits from the collaboration of Noelia Coll Bad\u00ed, co-founder of Voramar Fanplastic<\/a><\/span>, a sustainable and circular fashion initiative that<\/span> transforms recycled materials into unique handbags. Sewing training is led by Mar\u00eda Cristina Bravo Guti\u00e9rrez, founder of Studio Bravo Design<\/a>, who brings extensive experience in design and textile manufacturing. <\/span>Additionally, Thursday's session included the participation of a social worker <\/span>whose role is to provide<\/span>emotional support and guidance to beneficiaries, strengthening their overall well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through these actions, 'Weaving Rights' has made significant strides in advancing its mission of creating opportunities for women at risk. The project has successfully promoted autonomy and inclusion through creativity and professional training, with many participants now equipped with the skills and confidence to pursue economic independence.<\/span><\/p>\n
