RESE\u00d1A II ENCUENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE C\u00c1TEDRAS UNESCO IBEROAMERICANAS EN PATRIMONIO CULTURAL<\/h3>\n

Los d\u00edas 12 y 13 de junio de 2025, Valencia acogi\u00f3 el II Encuentro Internacional de C\u00e1tedras UNESCO Iberoamericanas en Patrimonio Cultural \u2014organizado por la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV)\u2014 bajo el lema \u201cBuenas pr\u00e1cticas en patrimonio cultural\u201d<\/strong><\/span> en La Llotgeta (Fundaci\u00f3n Mediterr\u00e1neo).<\/p>\n

Este foro sirvi\u00f3 como punto de encuentro para acad\u00e9micos, t\u00e9cnicos e instituciones de varios pa\u00edses iberoamericanos, que compartieron innovadoras estrategias de conservaci\u00f3n, restauraci\u00f3n, digitalizaci\u00f3n de bienes culturales, gobernanza patrimonial y participaci\u00f3n comunitaria.<\/span>\u00a0En un contexto marcado por la emergencia clim\u00e1tica y los desaf\u00edos sociales, la discusi\u00f3n gir\u00f3 en torno a c\u00f3mo proteger y dinamizar el patrimonio cultural en entornos complejos.<\/span><\/p>\n

El evento fue inaugurado por Mar\u00eda Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n<\/strong>, Directora de la C\u00e1tedra y del Instituto Universitario de Restauraci\u00f3n del Patrimonio y por Jos\u00e9 Antonio Madrid Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Director del Departamento de Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales de la UPV. Adem\u00e1s, se cont\u00f3 con la presencia y participaci\u00f3n de Paulina Kaplan<\/strong> -Directora de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO en Restauraci\u00f3n y Conservaci\u00f3n de Estructuras Patrimoniales de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso en Chile-; Mar Loren<\/strong> - Directora de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO en Patrimonio urbano moderno CREhAR. de la Universidad de Sevilla (Espa\u00f1a); Ander de la Fuente<\/strong> -coordinador de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO en Paisajes culturales y Patrimonio de la Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco \u2013Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV \/ EHU)-. \nUniversidad de Lima (Per\u00fa)- y Fabio Rincon<\/strong> -C\u00e1tedra UNESCO en Gesti\u00f3n Integral del Patrimonio de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Manizales (UNAL).<\/p>\n

De esta manera, el evento combin\u00f3 ponencias presenciales y en l\u00ednea, permitiendo una participaci\u00f3n h\u00edbrida que facilit\u00f3 la presencia de ponentes iberoamericanos y un acceso m\u00e1s amplio para el p\u00fablico<\/span> . Tambi\u00e9n se incluy\u00f3 mesas redondas de di\u00e1logo, paneles t\u00e9cnicos y visitas a la Iglesia Parroquial de San Nicol\u00e1s de Bari y San Pedro M\u00e1rtir, a cargo de Pilar Roig<\/strong>, encargada de la Restauraci\u00f3n, y a la Lonja de la Seda, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, a cargo de D. Arturo Zaragoz\u00e1<\/strong>, inspector de patrimonio art\u00edstico de la Generalitat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Este encuentro no s\u00f3lo favoreci\u00f3 el intercambio de conocimiento t\u00e9cnico, sino tambi\u00e9n la consolidaci\u00f3n de una comunidad iberoamericana con un prop\u00f3sito com\u00fan: proteger el legado cultural en escenarios afectados por el cambio clim\u00e1tico, la transformaci\u00f3n digital y los conflictos sociales.<\/span><\/p>\n

El II Encuentro Internacional de C\u00e1tedras UNESCO iberoamericanas en Patrimonio Cultural en Valencia ha demostrado ser una plataforma eficaz para fortalecer la red iberoamericana de protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural, promoviendo pr\u00e1cticas sostenibles y generando alianzas estrat\u00e9gicas para su futuro.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

II INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF IBERO-AMERICAN UNESCO CHAIRS IN CULTURAL HERITAGE<\/h3>\n

On June 12 and 13, 2025, Valencia hosted the II International Meeting of Ibero-American UNESCO Chairs in Cultural Heritage -organized by the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV)- under the theme \u201cBest Practices in Cultural Heritage\u201d<\/strong> at La Llotgeta (Fundaci\u00f3n Mediterr\u00e1neo).<\/p>\n

This forum served as a meeting point for academics, technicians and institutions from several Latin American countries, who shared innovative strategies for conservation, restoration, digitization of cultural property, heritage governance and community participation. In a context marked by the climate emergency and social challenges, the discussion focused on how to protect and revitalize cultural heritage in complex environments.<\/p>\n

The event was inaugurated by Mar\u00eda Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n<\/strong>, Director of the Chair and of the University Institute of Heritage Restoration and by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Madrid Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Director of the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the UPV. Also present and participating were Paulina Kaplan<\/strong> -Director of the UNESCO Chair in Restoration and Conservation of Heritage Structures at the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso in Chile-; Mar Loren<\/strong> -Director of the UNESCO Chair in Modern Urban Heritage CREhAR. of the University of Seville (Spain); Ander de la Fuente<\/strong> -coordinator of the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Landscapes and Heritage of the University of the Basque Country -Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV \/ EHU)-. In addition, Fernanda Rollo<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Biodiversity and Conservation for Sustainable Development at the University of Coimbra (Portugal); Teresa Cunha<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Heritage, Cities and Landscapes. Sustainable Management, Conservation, Planning and Design of the University of Porto (Portugal); Joao Dos Santos<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Arts and Culture Management, Cities and Creativity of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal); Carmen Mar\u00eda Ramos and Susana Malnis<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Cultural Tourism of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) and Asociaci\u00f3n Amigos del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (AAMNBA), both from Argentina; Losandro Antonio Tedeschi<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Cultural Diversity, Gender and Border Territories of the Federal University of Grande Dourados (Brazil)-; Valerie More<\/strong> -UNESCO Chair in City, Landscapes and Heritage. University of Lima (Peru) - and Fabio Rincon<\/strong> - UNESCO Chair in Integral Heritage Management at the National University of Colombia, Manizales (UNAL).<\/p>\n

In this way, the event combined face-to-face and online presentations, allowing a hybrid participation that facilitated the presence of Ibero-American speakers and a wider access for the public. It also included round table discussions, technical panels and visits to the Parish Church of San Nicol\u00e1s de Bari and San Pedro M\u00e1rtir, by Pilar Roig<\/strong>, in charge of Restoration, and to the Lonja de la Seda, a World Heritage Site, by Arturo Zaragoz\u00e1<\/strong>, inspector of artistic heritage of the Generalitat.<\/p>\n

This meeting not only favored the exchange of technical knowledge, but also the consolidation of an Ibero-American community with a common purpose: to protect the cultural legacy in scenarios affected by climate change, digital transformation and social conflicts.<\/p>\n

The II International Meeting of Ibero-American UNESCO Chairs in Cultural Heritage in Valencia has proven to be an effective platform for strengthening the Ibero-American network for the protection of cultural heritage, promoting sustainable practices and generatng strategic alliances for its future.<\/p>\n
