La C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural presenta su renovaci\u00f3n con la entrega de la memoria cuatrienal (Mayo 2021\u2013Junio 2025)<\/h3>\n
\n\t

Nos complace anunciar la presentaci\u00f3n oficial de la renovaci\u00f3n de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural<\/em> de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV), a trav\u00e9s de la entrega de la memoria correspondiente al periodo 2021\u20132025.<\/a> Este documento constituye una s\u00edntesis rigurosa y detallada de cuatro a\u00f1os de intenso trabajo, dedicaci\u00f3n y compromiso en favor de los objetivos que inspiran nuestra misi\u00f3n institucional.<\/p>\n

Creada en 2013, esta C\u00e1tedra se fundamenta en la experiencia adquirida desde 1995 mediante la Red Internacional Forum UNESCO\u2013Universidad y Patrimonio<\/em>, fruto del convenio de colaboraci\u00f3n entre la UNESCO y la UPV. Su labor se orienta a impulsar la implicaci\u00f3n activa de profesorado, investigadores, estudiantes y profesionales de todo el mundo en iniciativas que promuevan la protecci\u00f3n, conservaci\u00f3n, sensibilizaci\u00f3n y puesta en valor del Patrimonio Cultural y Natural, en estrecha coherencia con los principios fundacionales de la UNESCO.<\/p>\n

Durante estos cuatro a\u00f1os, las acciones desarrolladas han girado en torno a diversas l\u00edneas estrat\u00e9gicas: la sostenibilidad, la conservaci\u00f3n preventiva del patrimonio, y el uso del patrimonio cultural como herramienta educativa y de sensibilizaci\u00f3n. Todas estas acciones han estado firmemente alineadas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), en particular con el ODS 4 (Educaci\u00f3n de calidad), el ODS 11.4 (Protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural y natural) y el ODS 13 (Acci\u00f3n por el clima).<\/p>\n

La memoria presentada refleja no s\u00f3lo los logros acad\u00e9micos alcanzados, sino tambi\u00e9n el impacto social de nuestras actividades, materializadas en proyectos internacionales, cursos, publicaciones, encuentros acad\u00e9micos y colaboraciones interinstitucionales. A trav\u00e9s de estas iniciativas, la C\u00e1tedra ha reafirmado su compromiso con el arte, la educaci\u00f3n para la sostenibilidad, el patrimonio mundial y la ense\u00f1anza superior, consolidando su papel como plataforma interdisciplinar de reflexi\u00f3n, acci\u00f3n y cooperaci\u00f3n universitaria.<\/p>\n

La comunidad acad\u00e9mica puede consultar la memoria completa en los canales oficiales de la C\u00e1tedra y de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia. The UNESCO Chair Forum, University and Cultural Heritage presents its renewal through the submission of the four-year progress report (May 2021\u2013June 2025).<\/h3>\n
\n\t

We are pleased to announce the official submission of the renewal application for the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage at the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV), through the delivery of the progress report covering the period 2021\u20132025<\/a>. This document constitutes a rigorous and detailed synthesis of four years of dedicated work, effort, and commitment in pursuit of the objectives that guide our institutional mission.<\/p>\n

Established in 2013, the Chair builds upon the experience gained since 1995 through the International Network Forum UNESCO\u2013University and Heritage, a result of the cooperation agreement between UNESCO and UPV. Its work is aimed at fostering the active involvement of professors, researchers, students, and professionals from around the world in initiatives that promote the protection, conservation, awareness, and enhancement of Cultural and Natural Heritage, in close alignment with UNESCO\u2019s foundational principles.<\/p>\n

Over the past four years, our actions have focused on several strategic lines: sustainability, preventive conservation of heritage, and the use of cultural heritage as an educational and awareness-raising tool. All of these activities have been firmly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11.4 (Protection of cultural and natural heritage), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).<\/p>\n

The submitted report reflects not only our academic achievements, but also the social impact of our initiatives, which have materialized in international projects, courses, publications, academic meetings, and inter-institutional collaborations. Through these efforts, the Chair has reaffirmed its commitment to the arts, education for sustainability, world heritage, and higher education, consolidating its role as an interdisciplinary platform for reflection, action, and academic cooperation.<\/p>\n

The academic community is invited to consult the full report through the official channels of the Chair and the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia.
