Ricard Huerta es Catedr\u00e1tico de Educaci\u00f3n Art\u00edstica en la Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia, donde desarrolla una intensa labor docente, investigadora y de gesti\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica en el \u00e1mbito de las pedagog\u00edas culturales<\/strong> y la educaci\u00f3n en patrimonio<\/strong>. Vinculado al Instituto Universitario de Creatividad e Innovaciones Educativas, su trayectoria se caracteriza por una s\u00f3lida formaci\u00f3n interdisciplinar, siendo Doctor en Bellas Artes y licenciado en M\u00fasica, Bellas Artes y Comunicaci\u00f3n Audiovisual.<\/p>\n

A lo largo de su carrera, ha impulsado iniciativas clave en la intersecci\u00f3n entre arte, educaci\u00f3n y sociedad. Es director de la revista cient\u00edfica EARI<\/strong> Educaci\u00f3n Art\u00edstica Revista de Investigaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como del Diploma de Especializaci\u00f3n en Educaci\u00f3n Art\u00edstica y Gesti\u00f3n de Museos. Adem\u00e1s, dirige el proyecto Museari, orientado a la diversidad y la inclusi\u00f3n, y es fundador de la AVALEM Asociaci\u00f3n Valenciana de Educadores de Museos y Patrimonios, consolidando su compromiso con la mediaci\u00f3n cultural y la educaci\u00f3n en museos.<\/p>\n

Como investigador, coordina el grupo CREARI de Investigaci\u00f3n en Pedagog\u00edas Culturales<\/strong> y lidera proyectos de innovaci\u00f3n educativa como SecondRound, Art i Lluita en Secund\u00e0ria<\/em>. Asimismo, es investigador principal del proyecto I+D \u201cDECHADOS DIGITAL: Creatividad inclusiva en museos y patrimonios\u201d, financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades, centrado en la inclusi\u00f3n y la creatividad en contextos patrimoniales y muse\u00edsticos. Su actividad investigadora se complementa con su participaci\u00f3n en redes acad\u00e9micas internacionales y su pertenencia al Seminario de G\u00e9nero de los Museos de Catalunya.<\/p>\n

Su proyecci\u00f3n internacional es notable, habiendo sido investigador invitado en universidades de Europa y Am\u00e9rica Latina, incluyendo pa\u00edses como Francia, Reino Unido, Italia, Brasil, Argentina, Portugal o Chile, as\u00ed como en numerosas universidades espa\u00f1olas. Esta dimensi\u00f3n global ha contribuido a la difusi\u00f3n de sus aportaciones en educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, formaci\u00f3n del profesorado, diversidad LGTBI, patrimonio y museolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

La producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y creativa de Ricard Huerta incluye numerosos libros, art\u00edculos en revistas especializadas y la coordinaci\u00f3n de publicaciones colectivas. Paralelamente, su faceta como artista se refleja en exposiciones internacionales donde explora la tipograf\u00eda, la caligraf\u00eda y el valor simb\u00f3lico de las letras como elementos centrales de su discurso visual y educativo.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, ha desempe\u00f1ado un papel relevante en la dinamizaci\u00f3n de la comunidad acad\u00e9mica, dirigiendo doce jornadas internacionales de investigaci\u00f3n en educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica y seis congresos internacionales. Todo ello, unido a su compromiso con la innovaci\u00f3n educativa, la inclusi\u00f3n social y el pensamiento cr\u00edtico, lo sit\u00faa como una figura de referencia en el \u00e1mbito de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica contempor\u00e1nea, con un impacto significativo tanto en el contexto acad\u00e9mico como en el tejido cultural y muse\u00edstico.<\/p>\n

Ricard Huerta is Professor of Art Education at the University of Valencia, where he carries out extensive teaching, research, and academic management work in the field of cultural pedagogies<\/strong> and heritage education<\/strong>. Affiliated with the University Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations, his career is characterized by a strong interdisciplinary background, holding a PhD in Fine Arts and degrees in Music, Fine Arts, and Audiovisual Communication.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his carreer, he has promoted key initiatives at the intersection of art, education, and society. He is the director of the scientific journal EARI<\/strong> Art Education Research Journal, as well as the Diploma of Specialization in Art Education and Museum Management. In addition, he leads the Museari project, focused on diversity and inclusion, and is the founder of the AVALEM Association of Museum and Heritage Educators of Valencia, consolidating his commitment to cultural mediation and museum education. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a researcher, he coordinates the CREARI Research Group in Cultural Pedagogies<\/strong> and leads educational innovation projects such as SecondRound, Art and Struggle in Secondary Education. He is also the principal investigator of the R&D project \u201cDECHADOS DIGITAL: Inclusive Creativity in Museums and Heritage,\u201d funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, focused on inclusion and creativity in heritage and museum contexts. His research activity is complemented by participation in international academic networks and his membership in the Gender and Museums Seminar of Catalonia. <\/span><\/p>\n

His international presence is notable, having been a visiting researcher at universities across Europe and Latin America, including countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, and Chile, as well as numerous Spanish universities. This global dimension has contributed to the dissemination of his work in art education, teacher training, LGTBI diversity, heritage, and museology. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ricard Huerta\u2019s scientific and creative output includes numerous books, articles in specialized journals, and the coordination of collective publications. At the same time, his work as an artist is reflected in international exhibitions where he explores typography, calligraphy, and the symbolic value of letters as central elements of his visual and educational discourse. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, he has played a significant role in energizing the academic community, directing twelve international research workshops in art education and six international conferences. All of this, together with his commitment to educational innovation, social inclusion, and critical thinking, positions him as a leading figure in contemporary art education, with significant impact both academically and within the cultural and museum sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n
