{"id":1802,"date":"2019-11-26T12:09:23","date_gmt":"2019-11-26T11:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.cultura.webs.upv.es\/?p=1802"},"modified":"2019-11-26T12:09:23","modified_gmt":"2019-11-26T11:09:23","slug":"la-unesco-y-las-autoridades-iraquies-reafirman-su-compromiso-con-la-reconstruccion-de-mosul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/?p=1802","title":{"rendered":"La UNESCO y las autoridades iraqu\u00edes reafirman su compromiso con la reconstrucci\u00f3n de Mosul"},"content":{"rendered":"Repost https:\/\/es.unesco.org\/news\/unesco-y-autoridades-iraquies-reafirman-su-compromiso-reconstruccion-mosul<\/a>\n\nLa Directora General de la UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, se reuni\u00f3 el 11 de septiembre de 2019 en la Sede de la UNESCO con el ministro de Cultura de Iraq, Abdulameer Al-Dafar Hamdani, y el gobernador de la provincia de N\u00ednive, Mansour Al-Mareed, para examinar los avances del proyecto \u201cRevivir el esp\u00edritu de Mosul\u201d.\n\nEsta iniciativa emblem\u00e1tica, lanzada por la UNESCO en 2018 con el apoyo del gobierno de Iraq y del Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas, se concentra en la dimensi\u00f3n humana de la reconstrucci\u00f3n de la ciudad iraqu\u00ed en torno a tres ejes principales: la rehabilitaci\u00f3n y reconstrucci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural da\u00f1ado o destruido, la rehabilitaci\u00f3n del sistema educativo y la revitalizaci\u00f3n de la vida cultural\n\n\u201cEstamos comprometidos a trabajar juntos. Hemos acordado un calendario y un plan de acci\u00f3n s\u00f3lidos\", dijo la Directora General al t\u00e9rmino de la reuni\u00f3n, haciendo referencia al proyecto de reconstrucci\u00f3n de la Mezquita Al-Nuri, de su minarete y de dos iglesias, que financian los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos. Azoulay indic\u00f3 que las obras de consolidaci\u00f3n de las estructuras restantes y el desminado del recinto de la mezquita y el minarete podr\u00e1 comenzar en el primer semestre de 2020. La Mezquita Al-Nuri sufri\u00f3 graves da\u00f1os a ra\u00edz de la ocupaci\u00f3n de la ciudad por parte del D\u00e1esh.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cSomos conscientes de las dificultades, pero la poblaci\u00f3n de Mosul merece nuestros esfuerzos\u201d, subray\u00f3 Audrey Azoulay, quien record\u00f3 que \u201cMosul era el s\u00edmbolo de la diversidad y la tolerancia antes del conflicto. El esp\u00edritu de Mosul es un ejemplo y un objetivo para el resto de Iraq\u201d.\n\n\u201cLas necesidades son considerables, pero con la ayuda de la UNESCO y de la comunidad internacional, podemos hacer frente al desaf\u00edo.
