El Consejo Internacional de Museos, a trav\u00e9s de su Comit\u00e9 para la Conservaci\u00f3n, ha anunciado en Pek\u00edn que su pr\u00f3ximo congreso mundial ICOM-CC se celebrar\u00e1 en Val\u00e8ncia (Espa\u00f1a), en septiembre de 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El ICOM-CC es el evento m\u00e1s importante en el campo del patrimonio cultural a nivel internacional y se celebra cada tres a\u00f1os. En \u00e9l se re\u00fanen profesionales de museos de todo el mundo para debatir las cuestiones m\u00e1s importantes sobre el presente y el futuro del patrimonio. En la \u00faltima edici\u00f3n presencial del congreso, celebrada en Copenhague en 2017, se dieron cita cerca de 1000 asistentes de m\u00e1s de 50 pa\u00edses de los cinco continentes,  cifras que se esperan superar en la edici\u00f3n de Val\u00e8ncia, que ser\u00e1 la vig\u00e9sima de esta cita internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante una semana, y bajo el lema \u201cHacia un pasado sostenible\u201d, el ICOM-CC 2023 convertir\u00e1  a Val\u00e8ncia en la capital  mundial del patrimonio cultural. Profesionales, personal de investigaci\u00f3n, empresas y centros muse\u00edsticos de todo el mundo debatir\u00e1n sobre la situaci\u00f3n actual, retos y desaf\u00edos del patrimonio cultural, entre ellos, c\u00f3mo lograr una conservaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s eficiente y ecol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La candidatura de Val\u00e8ncia para albergar este encuentro ha sido coordinada por la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia \u2013en concreto, por su Instituto Universitario de Restauraci\u00f3n del Patrimonio (IRP)- con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Generalitat Valenciana, a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda Auton\u00f3mica de Cultura, y el Ayuntamiento de la ciudad, mediante la Fundaci\u00f3n Visit Valencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, cont\u00f3 con el apoyo de numerosos museos y centros culturales de toda Espa\u00f1a, entre ellos el Museo del Prado, el Reina Sof\u00eda, el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, el Guggenheim, el Museu Nacional d\u2019Art de Catalunya, el Museu de Belles Arts de Val\u00e8ncia, el IVAM (Institut Valenci\u00e0 d\u2019Art Modern), el Museo Nacional de Cer\u00e1mica y Artes Suntuarias Gonz\u00e1lez Mart\u00ed y el Centre del Carme Cultura Contempor\u00e0nia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El catedr\u00e1tico Salvador Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as, responsable del Grupo de Restauraci\u00f3n del Papel del Instituto de Restauraci\u00f3n del Patrimonio de la UPV, es el coordinador de esta candidatura. Seg\u00fan Mu\u00f1oz Vi\u00f1as, \u00bb el atractivo de las sedes, y de la ciudad en su conjunto, as\u00ed como nuestra trayectoria en el campo de la conservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural, han sido sin duda uno de los principales motivos para el \u00e9xito de la candidatura valenciana\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El congreso se dividir\u00e1 en sesiones plenarias y sesiones t\u00e9cnicas. Las primeras de ellas, que reunir\u00e1n a todos los participantes, se celebrar\u00e1n en el Palau de les Arts de Val\u00e8ncia. Las sesiones tem\u00e1ticas, m\u00e1s especializadas, tendr\u00e1n lugar en el campus de Vera de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
