Tambi\u00e9n fue el a\u00f1o en que los Estados Miembros de la UNESCO adoptaron la Declaraci\u00f3n de Principios sobre la Tolerancia.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Este Premio, dotado con $ 100.000 (d\u00f3lares estadounidenses), se otorga cada dos a\u00f1os, con motivo del D\u00eda Internacional de la Tolerancia (16 de noviembre).<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Las candidaturas presentadas por Organizaciones No Gubernamentales (ONG) y por personalidades cualificadas deben remitirse directamente a la Secretar\u00eda del Premio a la atenci\u00f3n de Ms. Anna Maria Majl\u00f6f <a href=\"mailto:-tolerance.prize@unesco.org-\">-tolerance.prize@unesco.org-<\/a> <strong>antes del 16 de junio de 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>En este enlace encontrar\u00e1n m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/prizes\/madanjeet_singh\">https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/prizes\/madanjeet_singh<\/a><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">The&nbsp;<strong>UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence<\/strong>&nbsp;rewards significant activities in the scientific, artistic, cultural and communication fields aimed at the promotion of a spirit of tolerance and non-violence.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">The Prize was established in 1995 on the occasion of the United Nations Year for Tolerance and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. The same year UNESCO Member States adopted the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance. The creation of the Prize has been inspired by the ideals of UNESCO\u2019s Constitution that proclaims that \u201cpeace if it is not to fail, must be founded on the intellectual and moral solidarity of mankind\u201d.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">Tolerance recognizes the universal human rights and fundamental freedoms of others. People are naturally diverse, only tolerance can ensure the survival of mixed communities in every region of the globe.
