El gran oc\u00e9ano que formaron los peques de la Escola d'Estiu de la UPV<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

En Ocean Art Project somos conscientes de la importancia de implicar a los j\u00f3venes en el Patrimonio Cultural y Natural Marino<\/strong> y reconocemos la necesidad de ofrecer propuestas que adem\u00e1s de potenciar un mejor conocimiento y comprensi\u00f3n de nuestro entorno marino, despierten inter\u00e9s en su cuidado y preservaci\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por ello, la semana pasada<\/strong> visitamos la Escola d\u2019Estiu de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/strong> para compartir una experiencia did\u00e1ctica en torno a esta tem\u00e1tica<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El objetivo principal de la propuesta ha sido sensibilizar a los m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes sobre el cuidado de nuestro patrimonio cultural y natural marino, y concienciar sobre la importancia de tomar acci\u00f3n frente a los riesgos principales que actualmente lo atenazan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La actividad estuvo dirigida por profesionales de la Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales, miembros del equipo de Ocean Art Project, y ha tenido como protagonistas a ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os de nueve a\u00f1os. Se ha llevado a cabo en cuatro grupos de, aproximadamente, veinte alumnos cada uno, por lo que se ha podido alcanzar un total de casi ochenta participantes entre las cuatro sesiones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para su desarrollo, se ha empleado una metodolog\u00eda dividida en cuatro instancias<\/strong>: presentaci\u00f3n y observaci\u00f3n, interacci\u00f3n, interpretaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n, a trav\u00e9s de las cuales los participantes han podido familiarizarse con t\u00e9rminos como \u201cPatrimonio\u201d, \u201cPatrimonio Cultural\u201d, \u201cPatrimonio Natural\u201d, \u201cPatrimonio Marino\u201d, \u201cPatrimonio Tangible\u201d y \u201cPatrimonio Intangible\u201d; conocer y reflexionar sobre los cinco riesgos actuales que amenazan el entorno marino; y valorar soluciones que enriquezcan su cuidado. Como resultado final, se ha obtenido un gran cartel repleto de notables ideas escritas por ellos mismos, que fomentan un uso sostenible del patrimonio: favorecen el cuidado en el momento presente, beneficiando su desarrollo en el futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin lugar a dudas, esta actividad ha supuesto un gran punto de partida para las propuestas venideras: ha proporcionado a los alumnos la oportunidad de descubrir aspectos importantes en torno al patrimonio marino, y a nosotros, los adultos, perspectivas renovadas para el cuidado de los mares y oc\u00e9anos.

OCEAN ART PROJECT EN LA ESCOLA D'ESTIU DE LA UPV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Ocean Art Project we are aware of the importance of involving young people in the Cultural and Natural Marine Heritage<\/strong> and we recognize the need to offer proposals that not only promote a better knowledge and understanding of our marine environment, but also awaken interest in its care and preservation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, last week <\/strong>we visited the Escola d'Estiu of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/strong> to share a didactic experience around this theme<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the proposal has been to sensitize young people about the care of our cultural and natural marine 8heritage, and to raise awareness about the importance of taking action against the main risks that currently threaten it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity was led by professionals in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, members of the Ocean Art Project team, and was attended by nine-year-old boys and girls. It was carried out in four groups of approximately twenty students each, so that a total of almost eighty participants were reached between the four sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The methodology used was divided into four stages<\/strong>: presentation and observation, interaction, interpretation and communication, through which the participants were able to become familiar with terms such as \"Heritage\", \"Cultural Heritage\", \"Natural Heritage\", \"Marine Heritage\", \"Tangible Heritage\" and \"Intangible Heritage\"; to learn about and reflect on the five current risks that threaten the marine environment; and to evaluate solutions that enrich the care of the marine environment. As a final result, they have obtained a large poster full of remarkable ideas written by themselves, which promote a sustainable use of heritage: they favor care in the present moment, benefiting its development in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undoubtedly, this activity has been a great starting point for future proposals: it has given the students the opportunity to discover important aspects of marine heritage, and for us, the adults, renewed perspectives for the care of the seas and oceans.
