La pasarela que une la Bas\u00edlica de la Virgen con la Catedral de Valencia<\/strong> reabre para los visitantes gracias al proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n del **Museo Mariano (MuMa) de Valencia.<\/strong> Este paso elevado est\u00e1 formado por tres ventanales y sostenido sobre el llamado arco Novo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n**
Jaime Sancho, recto de la Bas\u00edlica ha sido el encargado de anunciar la apertura de este puente de **1.20 metros de ancho por 7.20 metros de largo<\/strong>. Desde \u00e9l, se puede obtener una vista tanto de la plaza de la Almoina como de la Virgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n**
Este pasadizo fue construido en el siglo XVII<\/strong> y rehecho en 1767. El espacio cay\u00f3 en desuso cuando la Catedral y la Bas\u00edlica se independizaron una de la otra. Su rehabilitaci\u00f3n, iniciada a principios de este a\u00f1o, ha consistido en un proceso de limpieza, saneamiento de las vigas de madera del techo, encalado de paredes y restauraci\u00f3n de las tres grandes vidrieras. En cuanto a los nuevos elementos incorporados, se ha implementado iluminaci\u00f3n nocturna con bombillas led. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
El rector de la Bas\u00edlica cuenta con que, este acontecimiento favorezca la difusi\u00f3n del Museo Mariano, que cuenta con obras eclesi\u00e1sticas como mantos, rosarios e insignias, adem\u00e1s de colecciones de artistas reconocidos como Jer\u00f3nimo Jacinto de Espinosa, Vicente L\u00f3pez o Mariano Benlliure, entre otros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
De esta manera, la entrada del Museo Mariano incluir\u00e1, a partir de ahora, la visita de este pasadizo que une dos edificios hist\u00f3ricos e indispensables en la historia del pueblo valenciano. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walkway that connects the Basilica of the Virgin with the Cathedral of Valencia <\/strong>reopens for visitors thanks to the recovery process of the Marian Museum (MuMa)<\/strong> **of Valencia<\/strong>. This elevated walkway is formed by three windows and supported on the so-called Novo arch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n**
Jaime Sancho, the Basilica's rector, has been in charge of announcing the opening of this bridge, which is 1.20 meters wide and 7.20 meters long<\/strong>. From it, you can get a view of both the *Plaza de la Almoina<\/em> and the Virgin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n*
This passageway was built in the 17th century<\/strong> and rebuilt in 1767. The space fell into disuse when the Cathedral and the Basilica became independent of each other. Its rehabilitation, which began earlier this year, has consisted of a process of cleaning, restoration of the wooden beams of the ceiling, whitewashing of walls and restoration of the three large stained glass windows. As for the new elements incorporated, night lighting with LED bulbs has been implemented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rector of the Basilica expects that this event will favor the dissemination of the Marian Museum, which has ecclesiastical works such as cloaks, rosaries and badges, as well as collections of renowned artists such as Jer\u00f3nimo Jacinto de Espinosa, Vicente L\u00f3pez and Mariano Benlliure, among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
**Thus, the entrance of the Mariano Museum will include, from now on, the visit of this passage that joins two historical and indispensable buildings in the history of the Valencian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n**
