Hoy, 26 de septiembre<\/strong>, se celebra el D\u00eda Mundial de la Salud Ambiental<\/strong>. En el marco de la Agenda 2030, en la que la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidos (ONU) ha desarrollado los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible<\/strong> (ODS), se toma esta efem\u00e9ride orientada a garantizar la sostenibilidad de los ecosistemas para garantizar su salud en generaciones futuras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta celebraci\u00f3n comienza a tener lugar desde el a\u00f1o 2011 a ra\u00edz de la iniciativa de la Federaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Salud Ambiental con la finalidad de sensibilizar y concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n mundial sobre la salud del medio ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS)<\/strong>, la salud ambiental es la disciplina que se encarga de estudiar, prevenir y controlar factores ambientales y del entorno que puedan influir en los seres vivos. Adem\u00e1s, es considerada una pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica esencial, orientada a prevenir y disminuir la aparici\u00f3n de aquellas enfermedades que son generadas por condiciones ambientales inadecuadas para conseguir la mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <\/strong>DAY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today, September 26th<\/strong>, is World Environmental Health Day<\/strong>. Within the framework of the 2030 Agenda, in which the United Nations (UN) has developed the Sustainable Development Goals <\/strong>(SDGs), this event is aimed at ensuring the sustainability of ecosystems to guarantee their health for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This celebration begins to take place since 2011 as a result of the initiative of the International Federation for Environmental Health with the aim of sensitizing and raising awareness among the world population about the health of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the World Health Organization<\/strong> (WHO), environmental health is the discipline responsible for studying, preventing and controlling environmental and environmental factors that may influence living beings. It is also considered an essential public policy, aimed at preventing and reducing the appearance of diseases caused by inadequate environmental conditions in order to improve people's quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
