Hoy, 5 de octubre, se celebra el D\u00eda Mundial de los Docentes<\/strong>. Desde el a\u00f1o 1994, cada d\u00eda como el de hoy se conmemora esta profesi\u00f3n para valorar esta figura tan importante en la vida de todas las personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se eligi\u00f3 esta fecha para conmemorar esta labor protagonizada por la pasi\u00f3n y la dedicaci\u00f3n para hacerla coincidir con la suscripci\u00f3n de la Recomendaci\u00f3n de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Trabajo y la UNESCO relativa a la Situaci\u00f3n del Personal Docente del a\u00f1o 1966<\/strong>. En este informe se exponen los criterios que definen los derechos y las responsabilidades que tienen los docentes. Tambi\u00e9n se reflejan las normas relacionadas con su formaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como las condiciones de contrataci\u00f3n o aprendizaje, entre otros factores. Este documento se complet\u00f3 en 1997 con la adopci\u00f3n de la Recomendaci\u00f3n relativa a la Condici\u00f3n del Personal Docente en la Ense\u00f1anza Superior. Este D\u00eda se celebra de manera oficial en una colaboraci\u00f3n conjunta de la UNESCO, UNICEF, la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo y la Internacional de Educaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como lema, este a\u00f1o, el D\u00eda Mundial de los Docentes, se presenta con \u201cLa transformaci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n comienza con las y los docentes\u201d.<\/strong> Con esta reflexi\u00f3n se pretende analizar la problem\u00e1tica actual a la que se enfrentan los docentes y proponer formas de mejora en la calidad de la educaci\u00f3n y en las condiciones laborales. Este concepto se encuentra en total consonancia con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 4: Educaci\u00f3n de Calidad, de la Agenda 2030 planteada por la ONU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En este D\u00eda del Docente, algunos datos que alarman son los que ofrece la UNESCO sobre el d\u00e9ficit de profesorado alrededor del mundo. Las cifras indican que faltan 69 millones de docentes para llegar a todos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por todo ello, siempre, y especialmente hoy, es el D\u00eda de una de las figuras que ayudan a construir y formar personalidades que van a agradecer, mantener y difundir, las trazas de unas manos generosas y altruistas.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WORLD TEACHERS' DAY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today, October 5th, is World Teachers' Day.<\/strong> Since 1994, every day like today, this profession is commemorated to value this important figure in the lives of all people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This date was chosen to commemorate this work, characterized by passion and dedication, to coincide with the signing of the 1966 Recommendation of the World Labor Organization and UNESCO concerning the Status of Teachers<\/strong>. This report sets out the criteria defining the rights and responsibilities of teachers. It also reflects the standards related to their training, as well as hiring or apprenticeship conditions, among other factors. This document was completed in 1997 with the adoption of the Recommendation concerning the Status of Higher Education Teaching Personnel. The Day is officially celebrated in a joint collaboration between UNESCO, UNICEF, the International Labour Organization and Education International.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's theme for World Teachers' Day is \"Transforming education begins with teachers\".<\/strong> The aim of this reflection is to analyze the current problems faced by teachers and to propose ways to improve the quality of education and working conditions. This concept is fully in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, of the 2030 Agenda proposed by the UN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this Teachers' Day, some alarming data is provided by UNESCO on the teacher shortage around the world. The figures indicate that there is a shortage of 69 million teachers to reach everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For all these reasons, it is always, and especially today, the Day of one of the figures that help to build and form personalities that will thank, maintain and spread the traces of generous and altruistic hands.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
