La Ley 4\/1998, de 11 de junio, del Patrimonio Cultural Valenciano <\/strong>entr\u00f3 en vigor el 19 de junio de 1998<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Como pre\u00e1mbulo, esta Ley presenta el patrimonio cultural valenciano como una de las principales se\u00f1as de identidad del pueblo valenciano y el testimonio de su contribuci\u00f3n a la cultura universal. <\/em>Todos los bienes integrados en este patrimonio corresponden a todos los valencianos y especialmente, a las instituciones y poderes p\u00fablicos que los representan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

El art\u00edculo 31 del Estatuto de Autonom\u00eda de la Comunidad Valenciana le concede a la Generalitat la competencia exclusiva sobre el patrimonio hist\u00f3rico, art\u00edstico, monumental, arquitect\u00f3nico, arqueol\u00f3gico y cient\u00edfico, as\u00ed como sobre archivos, bibliotecas, museos, hemerotecas y dem\u00e1s centros de dep\u00f3sito cultural que no sean de titularidad estatal -sin perjuicio de las competencias del Estado y la informaci\u00f3n reflejada en la Constituci\u00f3n-.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

La Ley, presenta como objetivo principal fomentar el aprecio general del patrimonio cultural a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n y la informaci\u00f3n para asegurar su protecci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de un car\u00e1cter prohibitivo, el legislador parte de la idea de la colaboraci\u00f3n de la sociedad como parte activa en la conservaci\u00f3n, restauraci\u00f3n y rehabilitaci\u00f3n del gran n\u00famero de bienes culturales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

La Ley de Patrimonio Cultural Valenciano se compone de 104 art\u00edculos repartidos en un total de 7 t\u00edtulos<\/strong>, a\u00f1adiendo el pre\u00e1mbulo y las disposiciones adicionales, transitorias, derogatorias y finales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Este documento fomenta la participaci\u00f3n de una sociedad representada por una gran cantidad de bienes culturales. Conoci\u00e9ndolos, valor\u00e1ndolos y comprendiendo los objetivos de estos art\u00edculos, el pueblo valenciano conseguir\u00e1 que su patrimonio cultural perdure en las se\u00f1as de identidad para las generaciones futuras.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

LAW OF VALENCIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Law 4\/1998, of June 11th, 1998, on Valencian Cultural Heritage <\/strong>came into force on June 19th, 1998.<\/strong>
As a preamble, this Law presents the Valencian cultural heritage as one of the main signs of identity of the Valencian people and the testimony of its contribution to the universal culture. All the goods integrated in this heritage belong to all the Valencian people and especially, to the institutions and public powers that represent them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Article 31 of the Statute of Autonomy of the Valencian Community grants the Generalitat <\/em>the exclusive competence over the historical, artistic, monumental, architectural, archaeological and scientific heritage, as well as over archives, libraries, museums, newspaper libraries and other cultural deposit centers that are not owned by the State -without prejudice to the competences of the State and the information reflected in the Constitution-.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The main objective of the Law is to promote the general appreciation of the cultural heritage through education and information to ensure its protection and conservation<\/strong>. Beyond a prohibitive character, the legislator starts from the idea of the collaboration of society as an active part in the conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the great number of cultural assets.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Valencian Cultural Heritage Law is made up of 104 articles distributed in a total of 7 titles<\/strong>, adding the preamble and the additional, transitory, derogatory and final provisions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This document encourages the participation of a society represented by a large amount of cultural assets. Knowing them, valuing them and understanding the objectives of these articles, the Valencian people will ensure that their cultural heritage will endure in the signs of identity for future generations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
