Sin embargo, el Consejo de Europa lo dio por concluido en el a\u00f1o 2000 en Florencia (Italia). El principal objetivo del Convenio es reconocer todas las formas de paisaje europeos, naturales, rurales, urbanos y periurbanos, ya sean emblem\u00e1ticos u ordinarios. Tambi\u00e9n eleva los valores en relaci\u00f3n a lo natural, cultural, humanizado y todas las interconexiones correspondientes. De esta manera, es deber para los pa\u00edses europeos trabajar en la protecci\u00f3n, planificaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n, tanto de la calidad, como la diversidad e integridad de estos paisajes. Dentro de este reconocimiento, se incluye la definici\u00f3n, caracterizaci\u00f3n, aplicaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas de protecci\u00f3n, facilitaci\u00f3n de la participaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, integraci\u00f3n de los paisajes en la pol\u00edtica de ordenaci\u00f3n territorial, econ\u00f3mica, social, cultural y ambiental. En este punto, tambi\u00e9n se resalta la importancia sobre la sensibilizaci\u00f3n ciudadana, la educaci\u00f3n y la formaci\u00f3n de expertos.<\/p>\n<p>Otro de los objetivos de esta propuesta es alentar a las autoridades p\u00fablicas a establecer medidas y pol\u00edticas locales, regionales, nacionales e internacionales para llevar a cabo la conservaci\u00f3n de estos espacios. \u00a0 El Convenio Europeo del Paisaje entr\u00f3 en vigor el 1 de marzo de 2004. Espa\u00f1a, en este caso, ratific\u00f3 el Convenio el 26 de noviembre de 2007 (BOE de 5\/02\/2008) y est\u00e1 en vigor desde el 1 de marzo de 2008.
