En mayo de este a\u00f1o 2022<\/strong>, el Consejo de Ministros<\/strong> aprob\u00f3 la declaraci\u00f3n de Dolmen de Guadalperal como Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural<\/strong>, siendo este reconocimiento, el m\u00e1ximo grado de protecci\u00f3n que otorga la Ley de Patrimonio Hist\u00f3rico Espa\u00f1ol. Esta zona arqueol\u00f3gica se encuentra en el municipio El Gordo (C\u00e1ceres)<\/strong> y representa uno de los ejemplos del megalitismo de la cuenca media del r\u00edo Tajo.<\/p>\n

Desde que qued\u00f3 al descubierto, tanto un grupo del Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte, el Ministerio para la Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica, como la Junta de Extremadura, se encargan de su conservaci\u00f3n. El espacio, declarado Zona Arqueol\u00f3gica se encuentra situado en el embalse de Valdeca\u00f1as y representa un inter\u00e9s hist\u00f3rico, arqueol\u00f3gico y arquitect\u00f3nico. Fue excavado y estudiado por Hugo Obermaier entre 1927 y 1930 y fue un ejemplo pionero de intervenci\u00f3n de restauraci\u00f3n en un yacimiento arqueol\u00f3gico. Se encuentra ubicado en dominio p\u00fablico hidr\u00e1ulico, dentro de la zona inundable del embalse; de titularidad estatal y adscritos a la Confederaci\u00f3n Hidrogr\u00e1fica.<\/p>\n

En agosto de 2019 el monumento qued\u00f3 al descubierto por la sequ\u00eda, provocando una bajada del nivel del agua. Entre los a\u00f1os 2019-2021, se realizaron trabajos de investigaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como de documentaci\u00f3n de todo el conjunto. Tipol\u00f3gicamente, se trata de un sepulcro de corredor con una c\u00e1mara funeraria de 5 metros de di\u00e1metro y un largo corredor de casi 10 metros de largo y 1.50 metros de ancho. Se trata de una industria l\u00edtica en s\u00edlex y cuarcita de car\u00e1cter microl\u00edtico, fragmentos de cer\u00e1mica dorada de cocci\u00f3n reductora con desengrasantes y vasos campaniformes.<\/p>\n

El trabajo realizado por el Ministerio, la Junta y otras instituciones ha significado un ejemplo de buenas pr\u00e1cticas, consiguiendo as\u00ed, el m\u00e1ximo reconocimiento.
