La Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas ya mostr\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n su preocupaci\u00f3n por la conservaci\u00f3n de los lugares culturales e hist\u00f3ricos de Ucrania. El pa\u00eds tiene un total de <strong>28 sitios culturales agrupados en 7 categor\u00edas diferentes<\/strong>, ateniendo a su naturaleza y tipolog\u00eda. Desde el comienzo de la invasi\u00f3n rusa de Ucrania, las organizaciones transmitieron una gran preocupaci\u00f3n por conservar los lugares hist\u00f3ricos de la zona e instaron a colocar el emblema del Escudo Azul ante la posibilidad de que fueran atacados intencional o involuntariamente por los ej\u00e9rcitos.<\/p>\n<p>El<strong> Escudo Azul<\/strong> es un emblema que fue creado en el Convenio para la Protecci\u00f3n de los Bienes Culturales firmado en La Haya (1954). Este encuentro se dio en un contexto posterior a dos guerras mundiales, por lo que se vio la necesidad de crear un s\u00edmbolo que permitiera proteger lugares culturales frente a ataques b\u00e9licos. De esta manera, el proceso de colocaci\u00f3n de estos emblemas comenz\u00f3 en el Conjunto del centro hist\u00f3rico de Lle\u00f3polis, precediendo a monumentos civiles y religiosos protegidos en Kiev. Cabe mencionar que todos los sitios culturales se encuentras en el oeste del pa\u00eds, salvo algunos monumentos de Kiev, como la Catedral de Santa Sof\u00eda, el Monasterio de las Cuevas y la Iglesia del Salvador en Berestovo.<\/p>\n<p>El museo de la Libertad de Kiev fue uno de los primeros en pedir ayuda, incluso antes de que Putin anunciara el inicio de la invasi\u00f3n rusa. Las instituciones, adem\u00e1s temieron que la guerra no diferenciara ni reconociera el legado que custodian y decidieron apresurarse para trasladas parte de las obras a b\u00fankeres a\u00e9reos.
