SEQU\u00cdA EN VENECIA<\/h3>\t\t\t

La festividad del Carnaval en Venecia<\/strong> ha venido marcada por la preocupaci\u00f3n por parte de sus habitantes y visitantes por la imagen de sus canales sin agua<\/strong>. Los canales de Venecia forman parte del entorno y patrimonio de la ciudad, pero tambi\u00e9n tienen una funcionalidad b\u00e1sica de transporte.<\/p>\n

Italia se encuentra en una temporada de sequ\u00eda. Las temperaturas han disminuido en todo el pa\u00eds, provocando un clima invernal pero muy seco. Las precipitaciones se han reducido un 40% respecto a la media del norte del pa\u00eds especialmente en Venecia, que es conocida por sus canales e inundaciones.<\/p>\n

Las mareas bajas en la ciudad son muy habituales en los primeros meses del a\u00f1o. Los niveles alcanzados en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas son extremos y ello es debido a los efectos de anticicl\u00f3n, responsable de que no haya llovido pr\u00e1cticamente nada durante este invierno.<\/p>\n

Los Carnavales son una de las festividades m\u00e1s importantes de la ciudad y que m\u00e1s turistas atrae desde el 4 de febrero al 21 del mismo mes. Durante estas semanas, las calles de Venecia se llenan de color, disfraces y m\u00fasica. Los turistas que han acudido este a\u00f1o a disfrutar de esta fiesta se han quedado sorprendidos por la apariencia de los canales que trae consigo otras consecuencias como el mal olor o los miles de peces muertos.<\/p>\n

La ausencia de agua en los canales venecianos tambi\u00e9n afecta de otras maneras a los sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n relacionados con el servicio de bomberos, polic\u00eda y ambulancias acu\u00e1ticas. Los canales actualmente, se encuentran cubiertos de fango que imposibilita la circulaci\u00f3n. Muchos due\u00f1os de embarcaciones se han visto afectados tambi\u00e9n ya que, sus barcos se han quedado atrapados en el barro sin forma posible de sacarlos.<\/p>\n

Se trata de la peor sequ\u00eda en 70 a\u00f1os ya que, el nivel del agua de los canales se encuentra hasta 60 cent\u00edmetros por debajo de lo normal afectando a las actividades diarias y al entorno que configura un patrimonio \u00fanico en esta ciudad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Carnival festivities in Venice<\/strong> have been marked by the concern of its inhabitants and visitors for the image of its canals without water<\/strong>. Venice’s canals are part of the city’s environment and heritage, but they also have a basic transportation function.<\/p>\n

Italy is in a dry season. Temperatures have dropped throughout the country, causing wintry but very dry weather. Rainfall is down 40% from the average in the north of the country especially in Venice, which is known for its canals and flooding.<\/p>\n

Low tides in the city are very common in the first months of the year. The levels reached in the last few days are extreme and this is due to the effects of the anticyclone, responsible for practically no rain this winter.<\/p>\n

The Carnival is one of the most important festivities in the city and attracts the most tourists from February 4 to 21 of the same month. During these weeks, the streets of Venice are filled with color, costumes and music. Tourists who have come this year to enjoy this festival have been surprised by the appearance of the canals that brings with it other consequences such as the bad smell or the thousands of dead fish.<\/p>\n

The absence of water in the Venetian canals also affects in other ways the sectors of the population related to the fire, police and water ambulance services. The canals are currently covered with mud that makes circulation impossible. Many boat owners have also been affected as their boats have been trapped in the mud with no way to get them out.<\/p>\n

This is the worst drought in 70 years, as the water level in the canals is up to 60 centimeters below normal, affecting daily activities and the environment, which is a unique heritage of this city.<\/strong><\/p>\n
