{"id":8051,"date":"2023-03-08T07:52:07","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T07:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/?p=8051"},"modified":"2023-03-08T08:00:27","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T08:00:27","slug":"igualdad-de-genero-como-objetivo-de-desarrollo-sostenible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/?p=8051","title":{"rendered":"IGUALDAD DE G\u00c9NERO COMO OBJETIVO DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-8051\"  class=\"panel-layout\" ><div id=\"pg-8051-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-8051-0\" ><div id=\"pgc-8051-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-8051-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_media_image panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"0\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/mundo\/europa\/2021-03-03\/venecia-sin-agua-canales-secos-gondolas_2975488\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"756\" src=\"https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/sdg-5-grande-es.jpeg\" class=\"image wp-image-8052  attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/sdg-5-grande-es.jpeg 1600w, https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/sdg-5-grande-es-768x363.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/catunescoforum.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/sdg-5-grande-es-1536x726.jpeg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-8051-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-8051-1\" ><div id=\"pgc-8051-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-8051-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\">IGUALDAD DE G\u00c9NERO COMO OBJETIVO DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE<\/h3>\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p>En el a\u00f1o 2015, la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas estableci\u00f3 los llamados Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), concentrando en 17 grandes rasgos, un dise\u00f1o para lograr un futuro mejor y m\u00e1s sostenible para todos.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los 17 <strong>ODS<\/strong>, se encuentra el <strong>n\u00famero 5 \u2013 Igualdad de G\u00e9nero<\/strong>, que pretende lograr la igualdad entre g\u00e9neros y empoderar a todas las mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>La Agenda 2030, donde se agrupan todos estos Objetivos, entiende que la igualdad de g\u00e9nero no es s\u00f3lo un derecho humano fundamental, sino que se trata de uno de los fundamentos esenciales para construir un mundo pac\u00edfico, pr\u00f3spero y sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de los logros de estas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas como el aumento del n\u00famero de ni\u00f1as escolarizadas, mujeres con cargos en parlamentos y posiciones de liderazgo y la creaci\u00f3n de leyes para fomentar la igualdad de g\u00e9nero, existen todav\u00eda numerosas dificultades: muchas leyes y normas sociales siguen siendo discriminatorias, las mujeres siguen estando infrarrepresentadas en el liderazgo pol\u00edtico y 1 de cada 5 mujeres y ni\u00f1as de entre 15 y 49 a\u00f1os afirma haber sufrido violencia f\u00edsica o sexual por su pareja en un per\u00edodo de 12 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la pandemia tambi\u00e9n condujo a un fuerte aumento de la violencia contra las mujeres y ni\u00f1as ya que, con las medidas de confinamiento en vigor, muchas mujeres se encontraban atrapadas en sus casas con sus abusadores y con dificultades para acceder a servicios de ayuda. Los nuevos datos muestran que, desde el brote de la pandemia, la violencia contra mujeres y ni\u00f1as se ha intensificado.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, existen otros datos aterradores:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>750 millones de mujeres y ni\u00f1as se casaron antes de los 18 a\u00f1os y al menos 200 millones de mujeres y ni\u00f1as se sometieron a la mutilaci\u00f3n genital femenina a nivel mundial.<\/li>\n<li>En 18 pa\u00edses, los hombres pueden impedir, de manera legal, que las mujeres trabajen.<\/li>\n<li>Pese al avance durante estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la representaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en los parlamentos sigue estando lejos de la paridad, con un 23.7%.<\/li>\n<li>S\u00f3lo el 52% de las mujeres casadas o en una uni\u00f3n toman libremente sus propias decisiones sobre relaciones sexuales, uso de anticonceptivos y atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dentro del ODS 5, existen algunas metas cuyo objetivo principal es cambiar estos datos y fortalecer el empoderamiento de la mujer en una sociedad en la que han sido, son y ser\u00e1n, sumamente necesarias.<\/p>\n<p>Consulta m\u00e1s datos y metas del Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible n\u00famero 5 pinchando <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/es\/gender-equality\/\">aqu\u00ed.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>__<\/p>\n<p><strong>GENDER EQUALITY AS A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly established the so-called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), concentrating in 17 broad outlines, a design to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.<\/p>\n<p>Among the 17 <strong>SDGs<\/strong> is <strong>number 5 &#8211; Gender Equality<\/strong>, which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women.<\/p>\n<p>The 2030 Agenda, where all these Goals are grouped, understands that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but also one of the essential foundations for building a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the achievements of recent decades such as the increase in the number of girls in school, women in parliaments and leadership positions and the creation of laws to promote gender equality, there are still many challenges: many laws and social norms remain discriminatory, women continue to be underrepresented in political leadership and 1 in 5 women and girls aged 15-49 years report having experienced physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner in a 12-year period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the pandemic also led to a sharp increase in violence against women and girls as, with confinement measures in place, many women found themselves trapped at home with their abusers and with difficulty accessing support services.
