EL PATRIMONIO VIVO DE EUGENIO MONESMA<\/h3>\t\t\t

Eugenio Monesma<\/strong> acumula una filmograf\u00eda compuesta por 3200 documentales sobre oficios perdidos, gastronom\u00eda tradicional y fiestas populares.<\/span><\/p>\n

Todos los documentales se encuentran disponibles en su canal de Youtube, que cuenta con 924.00 suscriptores. Desde navateros, carboneros, linotipistas, zahor\u00edes o retratistas hasta cuidadores de lagartos, elaboradores de agua de culebra, o artesanos de veletas de viento. El fot\u00f3grafo y director de cine aragon\u00e9s ha dedicado toda una vida a documentar artesan\u00edas en peligro de extinci\u00f3n o ya perdidas para tratar de devolverlas a la vida.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eugenio Monesma naci\u00f3 en Huesca y de su padre, carpintero, le viene el cuidado y admiraci\u00f3n por los oficios. Sumado a la facilidad en el manejo de las c\u00e1maras por un t\u00edo fot\u00f3grafo, tambi\u00e9n se une el af\u00e1n autodidacta por aprender y filmar cortometrajes.<\/span><\/p>\n

El primer oficio filmado por Eugenio Monesma fue el pastor. A los 18 a\u00f1os convivi\u00f3 durante una semana con un pastor trashumante para aprender su oficio. Para Eugenio Monesma se han restaurado antiguos pozos de hielo, se han cocido ladrillos de tierra y agua, se han construido carros de caballos, montado gaitas y reparado organillos.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSiempre se ha contado la historia de los poderosos, de los reyes, condes y grandes guerreros, pero nunca la del herrero que hac\u00eda las espadas, de los que empujaban los carros para llevar los ca\u00f1ones o de los que hac\u00edan el carb\u00f3n para elaborar las armas\u201d, comenta Eugenio Monesma.<\/span><\/p>\n

EUGENIO MONESMA’S LIVING HERITAGE<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Eugenio Monesma<\/strong> accumulates a filmography of 3200 documentaries on lost trades, traditional gastronomy and popular festivals.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the documentaries are available on his Youtube channel, which has 924.00 subscribers. From shipwrights, charcoal makers, linotypists, dowsers or portraitists to lizard keepers, snake water makers, or wind vane artisans. The Aragonese photographer and film director has dedicated a lifetime to documenting endangered or lost crafts in an attempt to bring them back to life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eugenio Monesma was born in Huesca and from his father, a carpenter, comes the care and admiration for the crafts. In addition to the ease in handling cameras by a photographer uncle, also joins the self-taught eagerness to learn and shoot short films.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first profession filmed by Eugenio Monesma was shepherding. At the age of 18 he spent a week with a transhumant shepherd to learn his trade. For Eugenio Monesma, old ice wells have been restored, earth and water bricks have been baked, horse carts have been built, bagpipes have been assembled and barrel organs have been repaired.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The story of the powerful, the kings, counts and great warriors has always been told, but never that of the blacksmith who made the swords, of those who pushed the carts to carry the cannons or those who made the coal to make the weapons,” says Eugenio Monesma.<\/span><\/p>\n
