CURSO “ARTESAN\u00cdA SOSTENIBLE: LA CULTURA DEL BARRO”<\/h3>\t\t\t

La\u00a0C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la UPV<\/strong>\u00a0y el\u00a0proyecto Ocean Art<\/strong>\u00a0organizan el curso\u00a0Artesan\u00eda Sostenible: la cultura del barro los d\u00edas 26 y 27 de mayo de 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Este curso se enmarca en los objetivos principales de C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la UPV y por extensi\u00f3n, de Ocean Art Project, que son divulgar la cultura de los mares y oc\u00e9anos a la vez que concienciar a la sociedad sobre el necesario cuidado y aprecio hacia los mismos. Dentro de esta l\u00ednea y, en consonancia con otros talleres impartidos con anterioridad, se ofrece un nuevo curso sobre la cultura del barro como un material sostenible y alternativo a los pl\u00e1sticos, los cuales suponen una fuente incesable de contaminaci\u00f3n marina, haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en la Regla de las Tres Erres: Reducir, Reutilizar y Reciclar.<\/p>\n

Este curso se impartir\u00e1 a cargo de Mar\u00eda Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n, catedr\u00e1tica de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia y Directora de la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV; y Yolanda Ruiz, artesana, artista contempor\u00e1nea y profesional del sector. Yolanda se form\u00f3 en Manises, una de las cunas mundiales de la cer\u00e1mica y Ciudad Creativa en Artesan\u00eda y Artes de la UNESCO y, de esta manera, nos plantea un taller responsable y creativo, inspirado en la naturaleza, en los conocimientos antiguos de los artesanos de la profesi\u00f3n y haciendo uso de un material durable y resistente al paso del tiempo. Nos ense\u00f1ar\u00e1 a producir nuestros propios contenedores de cer\u00e1mica dom\u00e9stica reduciendo as\u00ed el uso del pl\u00e1stico de botes, vasos y dem\u00e1s \u00fatiles.<\/p>\n

COURSE \u201cSUSTAINABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP: THE CULTURE OF CLAY\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the UPV and the Ocean Art Project<\/strong>\u00a0organize the course\u00a0Sustainable Crafts: the culture of clay on 26 and 27 May 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This course is part of the main objectives of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the UPV and by extension, the Ocean Art Project, which are to disseminate the culture of the seas and oceans while raising awareness in society about the necessary care and appreciation for them. Within this line and, in line with other workshops given previously, a new course is offered on the culture of clay as a sustainable material and alternative to plastics, which are an incessant source of marine pollution, with special emphasis on the Three Rs Rule: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.<\/p>\n

This course will be given by Mar\u00eda Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n, professor at the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia and Director of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV; and Yolanda Ruiz, craftswoman, contemporary artist and professional in the sector. Yolanda was trained in Manises, one of the world cradles of ceramics and UNESCO Creative City in Crafts and Arts and, in this way, she proposes a responsible and creative workshop, inspired by nature, in the ancient knowledge of the craftsmen of the profession and making use of a durable and resistant material to the passage of time. It will teach us how to produce our own domestic ceramic containers, thus reducing the use of plastic in jars, glasses and other utensils.<\/p>\n

The course will take place in the workshops of the\u00a0UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV<\/strong>\u00a0(Building 8B, Access K, Floor 1, UPV- Ciudad Polit\u00e9cnica de la Innovaci\u00f3n, Camino de Vera s\/n, Av.
