PREMIOS INTERNACIONALES DE ALFABETIZACI\u00d3N<\/h3>\t\t\t

Desde el a\u00f1o 1967 la UNESCO ha premiado a la excelencia y la innovaci\u00f3n en el campo de la alfabetizaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de los Premios Internacionales de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Estos reconocimientos tienen como objetivo principal apoyar las pr\u00e1cticas de alfabetizaci\u00f3n eficaces y fomentar la promoci\u00f3n de las sociedades alfabetizadas. Asta ahora, se han premiado m\u00e1s de 500 proyectos y programas realizados por gobiernos, organizaciones no gubernamentales e individuos a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n

La convocatoria de solicitudes del presente a\u00f1o, 2023, ya se encuentra abierta y el tema general es \u201cPromover la alfabetizaci\u00f3n para un mundo en transici\u00f3n\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, existen dos categor\u00edas de reconocimientos, cada una con un enfoque espec\u00edfico:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Premio de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n UNESCO-Rey Sejong -patrocinado por la Rep\u00fablica de Corea-: se centra en la alfabetizaci\u00f3n en la lengua materna. Cada uno de los galardonados, recibe una medalla de plata, un diploma y 20.000 d\u00f3lares estadounidenses.<\/li>\n
  2. Premio UNESCO-Confucio de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n -patrocinado por la Rep\u00fablica Popular China-: y dedicado a la promoci\u00f3n de la alfabetizaci\u00f3n, incluida la funcional, aprovechando los entornos tecnol\u00f3gicos, tanto en los adultos del medio rural como de los j\u00f3venes no escolarizados. Cada galardonado recibe 30.000 d\u00f3lares estadounidenses y un viaje de estudio a China con un proyecto espec\u00edfico por determinar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Las candidaturas se presentar\u00e1n exclusivamente a trav\u00e9s de una plataforma en l\u00ednea.<\/p>\n

    INTERNATIONAL LITERACY PRIZES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Since 1967, UNESCO has been rewarding excellence and innovation in the field of literacy through the International Literacy Prizes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The main purpose of these awards is to support effective literacy practices and to encourage the promotion of literate societies. To date, more than 500 projects and programs carried out by governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals worldwide have received awards.<\/p>\n

    The call for applications for this year, 2023, is now open and the overall theme is “Promoting literacy for a world in transition”. In addition, there are two categories of awards, each with a specific focus:<\/p>\n

    1. the UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize – sponsored by the Republic of Korea – focuses on mother-tongue literacy. Each of the laureates receives a silver medal, a diploma and US$20,000.
    \n2. UNESCO Confucius Prize for Literacy – sponsored by the People’s Republic of China – focuses on promoting literacy, including functional literacy, taking advantage of technological environments, among both rural adults and out-of-school youth. Each awardee receives US$30,000 and a study trip to China with a specific project to be determined.<\/p>\n

    Nominations will be submitted exclusively through an online platform.<\/p>\n
