OCEAN ART PROJECT EN LA FERIA DE INVENTOS UPV 2023<\/h3>\t\t\t

La evoluci\u00f3n de los servicios de telecomunicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> forma parte del progreso de nuestra cultura. Es interesante entender que las soluciones que se fueron aplicando a lo largo de la historia responden a la necesidad de resolver problemas concretos de la sociedad de la \u00e9poca, haciendo uso de los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos disponibles en cada momento.<\/p>\n

Hay que adelantar que los primeros sistemas eran de uso exclusivamente gubernamental y despu\u00e9s se abrieron al p\u00fablico, pero surgieron limitaciones debido al alto nivel de poblaci\u00f3n analfabeta; por tal motivo, algunos quedaron limitados a principio de su explotaci\u00f3n al comercio, a los sectores financieros e informativos.<\/p>\n

Es inmensa la magnitud de las labores llevadas a cabo en su d\u00eda para que la implantaci\u00f3n de los primeros sistemas de telecomunicaci\u00f3n en el mar fuera posible, sistemas extremadamente complejos para la \u00e9poca y aut\u00e9nticos hitos tecnol\u00f3gicos que cambiaron el mundo tal como se conceb\u00eda. Merece una menci\u00f3n especial el esfuerzo realizado por todas las personas que dedicaron su trabajo a dise\u00f1ar e implantar los sistemas y equipos, a desarrollar los servicios y a que todo funcionara de manera desapercibida.<\/p>\n

Ocean Art Project, proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n perteneciente a la C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural<\/strong> participa, este a\u00f1o, en la Feria de Inventos de la UPV<\/strong> y cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n del Museo Hist\u00f3rico Militar de Valenc<\/strong>ia, la Asociaci\u00f3n de Amigos del Museo Hist\u00f3rico Militar de Valencia y el Museo de la Telecomunicaci\u00f3n Vicente Miralles Segarra (Museus UPV).<\/strong><\/p>\n

En esta peque\u00f1a muestra, Ocean Art Project exhibe distintas piezas muse\u00edsticas que explican la evoluci\u00f3n de las telecomunicaciones a trav\u00e9s de un discurso centrando en la comunicaci\u00f3n mar\u00edtima, entre barcos, con barcos a tierra y haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en los distintos alfabetos y modos de comunicaci\u00f3n espec\u00edficos del mar.<\/p>\n

Este evento tendr\u00e1 lugar el d\u00eda 10 de junio a partir de las 11 h de la ma\u00f1ana en el Tinglado num.2 del Puerto de Valencia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

OCEAN ART PROJECT AT THE UPV INVENTION FAIR 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The evolution of telecommunication<\/strong> services is part of the progress of our culture. It is interesting to understand that the solutions that were applied throughout history respond to the need to solve specific problems of the society of the time, making use of the technological advances available at each moment.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the first systems were exclusively for governmental use and were later opened to the public, but limitations arose due to the high level of illiterate population; for this reason, some of them were limited at the beginning of their exploitation to commerce, financial and information sectors.<\/p>\n

The magnitude of the work carried out at the time to make possible the implementation of the first telecommunication systems at sea is immense, extremely complex systems for the time and true technological milestones that changed the world as it was conceived. Special mention should be made of the effort made by all the people who dedicated their work to design and implement the systems and equipment, to develop the services and to make everything work unnoticed.<\/p>\n

Ocean Art Project, a research project belonging to the UNESCO Chair<\/strong> participates, this year, in the Fair of Inventions of the UPV<\/strong> and has the collaboration of the Military History Museum of Valencia, the Association of Friends of the Military History Museum of Valencia and the Museum of Telecommunications Vicente Miralles Segarra (Museus UPV).<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this small exhibition, Ocean Art Project exhibits different museum pieces that explain the evolution of telecommunications through a discourse focusing on maritime communication, between ships, with ships to land and with special emphasis on the different alphabets and modes of communication specific to the sea.<\/p>\n

This event will take place on June 10 from 11 am in the morning at the Tinglado num.2 of the Port of Valencia.<\/strong><\/p>\n
