PREMIO UNESCO-HAMDAN<\/h3>\t\t\t

En 2008 fue creado el premio UNESCO-Hamdan<\/strong> para el desarrollo docente con el objetivo de apoyar la mejora de la calidad de la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje en pro de la consecuci\u00f3n del ODS 4 sobre \u201cEducaci\u00f3n de Calidad\u201d, que es una de las prioridades de la UNESCO en la Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n

Este premio se otorga bienalmente gracias a la donaci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3n Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum para el Rendimiento Acad\u00e9mico Distinguido (Fundaci\u00f3n Hamdan). Este reconocimiento est\u00e1 dotado con 300.000 d\u00f3lares estadounidenses que se dividen a partes iguales entre tres seleccionados, cuyos proyectos presentados deben estar orientados a mejorar los resultados y la eficacia de los docentes a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n

La Fundaci\u00f3n Hamdan se cre\u00f3 en 1998 por el Jeque Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Gobernador de Dubai y Ministro de Finanzas e Industria de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes unidos. Esta Fundaci\u00f3n tiene como objetivo perseguir la excelencia educativa y el patrocinio de las capacidades extraordinarias y la innovaci\u00f3n para mejorar el rendimiento educativo en todos los niveles y sectores.<\/p>\n

UNESCO-HAMDAN PRIZE<\/strong><\/p>\n

The UNESCO-Hamdan Prize<\/strong> for Teacher Development was established in 2008 to support the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning towards the achievement of SDG 4 on “Quality Education”, which is one of UNESCO’s priorities in the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n

This prize is awarded biennially thanks to a grant from the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Achievement (Hamdan Foundation). This recognition is endowed with US$300,000 to be divided equally among three selected recipients, whose submitted projects must be aimed at improving the performance and effectiveness of teachers globally.<\/p>\n

The Hamdan Foundation was established in 1998 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Industry of the United Arab Emirates. The Foundation aims to pursue educational excellence and the sponsorship of extraordinary abilities and innovation to improve educational performance at all levels and in all sectors.<\/p>\n
