El n\u00famero de habitantes de este territorio, se redujo as\u00ed, tras la llegada de los brit\u00e1nicos, de 900.000 habitantes a \u00fanicamente 30.000.<\/p>\n<p>Junto a los abor\u00edgenes australianos, existe una extensa cultura propia.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antes de la colonizaci\u00f3n europea, se hablaban m\u00e1s de 250 lenguas abor\u00edgenes en Australia. Actualmente, en el siglo XXI, se han reducido a menos de 20, estando algunas en grave peligro de extinci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Su lugar sagrado es la formaci\u00f3n rocosa llamad UIuru, que fue clasificada por la UNESCO como sitio natural Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1989.<\/li>\n<li>La cultura aborigen goza de un estilo musical muy caracter\u00edstico y propio debido al conocido instrumento \u201cdidgeridoo\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Otro rasgo importante de esta cultura es la presencia del bumer\u00e1n, que es usado como arma.<\/li>\n<li>Adem\u00e1s, el bumer\u00e1n es la practica deportiva favorita de los abor\u00edgenes australianos, seguidas por el f\u00fatbol australiano, rugby y criquet.<\/li>\n<li>La cocina aborigen se resume en el concepto \u201cBush Tucker\u201d, que hace referencia al conjunto de especies animales y vegetales australianas que permiten sobrevivir al hombre a partir de la naturaleza.<\/li>\n<li>Esta comunidad, tiene a su vez, una bandera propia que consta de dos franjas de color: negra, roja y acompa\u00f1ada de un c\u00edrculo amarillo en el centro. El color rojo representa la tierra, el negro simboliza a los pueblos abor\u00edgenes y el c\u00edrculo amarillo es el sol, como protector y generador de vida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Con esta \u00faltima reflexi\u00f3n sobre la importancia del significado y el valor de los abor\u00edgenes en Australia, cabe mencionar que el pasado mes de agosto se llev\u00f3 a cabo una serie de conferencias (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sydney.edu.au\/news-opinion\/news\/2023\/08\/22\/international-museum-conference--truth-telling-in-a-post-truth-e.html\">UMAC 2023<\/a>) en las ciudades de Sydney y Canberra. En estos encuentros, se plantearon numerosas problem\u00e1ticas sociales, econ\u00f3micas y culturales ligadas con la inclusi\u00f3n de la cultura aborigen al pa\u00eds de cercana descendencia brit\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n<p>En este discurso, se pudo llegar a la conclusi\u00f3n de la necesidad de elevar la cultura aborigen para devolverles la tierra y las costumbres que siempre les pertenecieron, entendiendo que los abor\u00edgenes australianos son una fuente de riqueza cultural VIVA y constituye un patrimonio material e inmaterial \u00fanico en el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Pincha <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jyd9GWDF6UI\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> para acceder al documental completo \u201cLos hombres del Quinto Mundo\u201d para conocer mejor esta etnia.<\/p>\n<p>__<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE WEALTH OF AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINAL PEOPLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australia is a country with 25 million inhabitants spread over 7 million km2.<br \/>\nPrior to European colonization in this territory, the Australian Aborigines, along with the Torres Strait Islanders, were the first inhabitants of Australia, spreading their culture throughout the country, Tasmania and other nearby islands.<\/p>\n<p>The Aborigines inhabited the territory for more than 60,000 years until the arrival of the settlers, who did not consider them to be properly human. The number of inhabitants of this territory was reduced from 900,000 to only 30,000 after the arrival of the British.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Australian Aborigines, there is an extensive culture of their own.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Before European colonization, more than 250 Aboriginal languages were spoken in Australia. Today, in the 21st century, they have been reduced to less than 20, some being in serious danger of extinction.<br \/>\n&#8211; Their sacred place is the rock formation called Uluru, which was classified by UNESCO as a natural World Heritage Site in 1989.<br \/>\n&#8211; The aboriginal culture enjoys a very characteristic and unique musical style due to the well-known &#8220;didgeridoo&#8221; instrument.<br \/>\n&#8211; Another important feature of this culture is the presence of the boomerang, which is used as a weapon.<br \/>\n&#8211; In addition, the boomerang is the favorite sport of the Australian Aborigines, followed by Australian soccer, rugby and cricket.<br \/>\n&#8211; Aboriginal cuisine is summarized in the &#8220;Bush Tucker&#8221; concept, which refers to the set of Australian animal and vegetable species that allow man to survive from nature.<br \/>\n&#8211; This community, in turn, has its own flag consisting of two colored stripes: black, red and accompanied by a yellow circle in the center. The red color represents the earth, the black symbolizes the aboriginal people and the yellow circle is the sun, as protector and generator of life.<\/p>\n<p>With this last reflection on the importance of the significance and value of Aboriginal people in Australia, it is worth mentioning that last August a series of conferences (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sydney.edu.au\/news-opinion\/news\/2023\/08\/22\/international-museum-conference--truth-telling-in-a-post-truth-e.html\">UMAC 2023<\/a>) were held in the cities of Sydney and Canberra.
