REUNI\u00d3N CON D. FEDERICO MAYOR ZARAGOZA<\/h3>\t\t\t

El pasado jueves 28 de septiembre de 2023<\/strong>, la directora de la C\u00e1tedra Unesco Forum, Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n<\/strong>, tuvo el privilegio de sostener una reuni\u00f3n de trabajo en la Fundaci\u00f3n Cultura de Paz con el distinguido profesor D. Federico Mayor Zaragoza<\/strong>, presidente de dicha fundaci\u00f3n. Durante este encuentro, se abordaron una serie de temas de relevancia, que abarcaron desde la situaci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica internacional hasta el papel crucial que la cultura y la palabra desempe\u00f1an en la b\u00fasqueda de una Cultura de Paz. Asimismo, se discutieron emocionantes proyectos futuros que prometen una colaboraci\u00f3n fruct\u00edfera.<\/p>\n

La reuni\u00f3n se caracteriz\u00f3 por la profundidad de las conversaciones y D. Federico Mayor Zaragoza aport\u00f3 perspicaces reflexiones e invaluables recuerdos relacionados con la historia de Espa\u00f1a y su trascendental per\u00edodo de transici\u00f3n. Su experiencia y conocimiento enriquecieron el encuentro de manera significativa.<\/p>\n

Un compromiso notable surgi\u00f3 de esta reuni\u00f3n, ya que el Profesor Mayor Zaragoza se comprometi\u00f3 a participar activamente en el acto de apertura del primer encuentro de la “Red de C\u00e1tedras UNESCO Iberoamericanas en Patrimonio Cultural”. Este evento, que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el jueves 23 de noviembre en la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso, Chile, promete ser un acontecimiento de gran relevancia. Esperamos que este acto inaugure una serie de ediciones exitosas y que la colaboraci\u00f3n en torno al patrimonio cultural contin\u00fae creciendo en el futuro.<\/p>\n

MEETING WITH MR. FEDERICO MAYOR ZARAGOZA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last Thursday, September 28, 2023, the director of the Unesco Forum Chair, Victoria Vivancos Ram\u00f3n, had the privilege of holding a working meeting at the Fundaci\u00f3n Cultura de Paz with the distinguished professor Federico Mayor Zaragoza, president of the foundation. During this meeting, a series of relevant topics were discussed, ranging from the situation of international politics to the crucial role that culture and words play in the search for a Culture of Peace. Exciting future projects that promise fruitful collaboration were also discussed<\/p>\n

The meeting was characterized by the depth of the conversations and Mr. Federico Mayor Zaragoza provided insightful reflections and invaluable memories related to the history of Spain and its transcendental transition period. His experience and knowledge significantly enriched the meeting.
\nA notable commitment emerged from this meeting, as Professor Mayor Zaragoza pledged to actively participate in the opening ceremony of the first meeting of the “Network of Ibero-American UNESCO Chairs in Cultural Heritage”. This event, to be held on Thursday, November 23 at the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso, Chile, promises to be an event of great relevance. We hope that this event will inaugurate a series of successful editions and that the collaboration around cultural heritage will continue to grow in the future.
