D\u00cdA DE LA UNESCO<\/h3>\t\t\t

El 4 de noviembre<\/strong> se celebra el D\u00eda de la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la Cultura.<\/strong> Este organismo pertenece a las Naciones Unidas y su creaci\u00f3n fue pensada para el compromiso de mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas, promoviendo la paz a trav\u00e9s de la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional, en el \u00e1mbito educativo, cultural y cient\u00edfico.<\/p>\n

Al finalizar la II Guerra Mundial, se cre\u00f3 la UNESCO con la finalidad de reestablecer los sistemas educativos en aquellos pa\u00edses que se hab\u00edan visto afectados por la guerra y que carec\u00edan de recursos suficientes para ejecuta acciones en materia de educaci\u00f3n y cultura.<\/p>\n

En noviembre de 1945, se realiz\u00f3 una conferencia de las Naciones Unidas, en la que participaron 44 pa\u00edses, de los cuales 37 aprobaron la fundaci\u00f3n de la UNESCO. De este modo, el 4 de noviembre entr\u00f3 en vigor la Constituci\u00f3n de la UNESCO y, posteriormente, se inaugur\u00f3 su sede principal en Par\u00eds, en 1958.<\/p>\n

En los a\u00f1os 70, se realizaron una serie de planteamientos en torno al Nuevo Orden Mundial de la Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n (NWICO), defendiendo as\u00ed, la libertad de prensa y comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Actualmente, 195 pa\u00edses forman parte de esta organizaci\u00f3n internacional. La Directora General de la UNESCO es Audrey Azoulay (Francia) desde 2017.<\/p>\n

La labor de la UNESCO es muy amplia, pero los objetivos principales son:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Erradicar el analfabetismo, evitando la exclusi\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n infantil de la Educaci\u00f3n B\u00e1sica que contribuya a su crecimiento y desarrollo.<\/li>\n
  • Salvaguardar el patrimonio cultural, estimulando la creatividad y la preservaci\u00f3n de las tradiciones culturales de las naciones.<\/li>\n
  • Fomentar el pluralismo y la diversidad de los medios de informaci\u00f3n y promover la libre circulaci\u00f3n de las ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Otro a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, se recuerda la labor imprescindible de la UNESCO a nivel mundial, incluyendo las redes UNITWIN y todas las universidades y c\u00e1tedras que favorecen el cumplimiento de los objetivos, acercando a los j\u00f3venes, y a la sociedad en general, esta instituci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

    UNESCO DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Day<\/strong> is celebrated on November 4<\/strong>. This organization belongs to the United Nations and its creation was conceived for the commitment to improve the quality of life of people, promoting peace through international cooperation in the educational, cultural and scientific fields.<\/p>\n

    At the end of World War II, UNESCO was created with the purpose of reestablishing the educational systems in those countries that had been affected by the war and lacked sufficient resources to carry out actions in the field of education and culture.<\/p>\n

    In November 1945, a United Nations conference was held, in which 44 countries participated, of which 37 approved the founding of UNESCO. Thus, on November 4, the Constitution of UNESCO came into force and, subsequently, its headquarters were inaugurated in Paris in 1958.<\/p>\n

    In the 1970s, a series of proposals were made regarding the New World Information and Communication Order (NWICO), thus defending freedom of the press and communication.
    \nToday, 195 countries are members of this international organization. The Director-General of UNESCO has been Audrey Azoulay (France) since 2017.<\/p>\n

    The work of UNESCO is very broad, but the main objectives are:<\/p>\n

    – Eradicate illiteracy, avoiding the exclusion of children from basic education that contributes to their growth and development.
    \n– Safeguard cultural heritage, stimulating creativity and the preservation of the cultural traditions of nations.
    \n– Encourage pluralism and diversity in the media and promote the free flow of ideas.<\/p>\n

    For yet another year, the indispensable work of UNESCO worldwide is recalled, including the UNITWIN networks and all the universities and chairs that favor the fulfillment of the objectives, bringing this institution closer to young people and society in general.<\/p>\n
