CONFERENCIA MUNDIAL DE LA UNESCO SOBRE LA EDUCACI\u00d3N CULTURAL Y ART\u00cdSTICA<\/h3>\t\t\t

La Conferencia Mundial de la UNESCO sobre la Educaci\u00f3n Cultural y Art\u00edstica se celebrar\u00e1 del 13 al 15 de febrero de 2024 en Abu Dhabi (Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos).<\/p>\n

Este encuentro tiene como objetivo favorecer el fortalecimiento de una coalici\u00f3n mundial en favor de la cultura y la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, as\u00ed como elaborar pol\u00edticas y pr\u00e1cticas que permitan mejorar la formaci\u00f3n de los estudiantes en sus conocimientos y competencias.<\/p>\n

Esta conferencia intergubernamental reunir\u00e1 a responsables pol\u00edticos, organismos de las Naciones Unidas, organizaciones intergubernamentales de la UNESCO, tal y como se muestra en el legado de las Conferencias Mundiales sobre la Educaci\u00f3n Art\u00edstica que se celebraron en Lisboa (2006) y en Se\u00fal (2010).<\/p>\n

La UNESCO, como organizaci\u00f3n internacional, presenta un claro compromiso con la educaci\u00f3n cultural y art\u00edstica. Es, a su vez, el \u00fanico organismo de las Naciones Unidas que tiene un mandato fundamental, tanto en educaci\u00f3n como en cultura. Adem\u00e1s, defiende que la cultura es una herramienta que se encuentra impl\u00edcita en todos los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n

A trav\u00e9s de instrumentos normativos, la UNESCO ha articulado diferentes puntos de uni\u00f3n entre cultura y educaci\u00f3n en acciones normativas y recomendaciones pol\u00edticas, promoviendo el aprendizaje de patrimonio, tanto material como inmaterial y reforzando la protecci\u00f3n y transmisi\u00f3n del patrimonio desde el entendimiento de la interculturalidad.<\/p>\n

The UNESCO World Conference on Cultural and Arts Education will be held from 13 to 15 February 2024 in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).<\/p>\n

The aim of the conference is to promote the strengthening of a global coalition for culture and arts education, and to develop policies and practices to improve the knowledge and skills of students.
\nThis intergovernmental conference will bring together policy makers, United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organisations and UNESCO, as shown in the legacy of the World Conferences on Arts Education held in Lisbon (2006) and Seoul (2010).<\/p>\n

UNESCO, as an international organisation, has a clear commitment to cultural and arts education. It is, in turn, the only UN agency with a core mandate in both education and culture. Furthermore, it advocates that culture is a tool that is implicit in all the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n

Through normative instruments, UNESCO has articulated different links between culture and education in normative actions and policy recommendations, promoting learning about heritage, both tangible and intangible, and reinforcing the protection and transmission of heritage through an understanding of interculturality.<\/p>\n
