La mitolog\u00eda<\/strong>, as\u00ed como la iconograf\u00eda, ha estado presente a lo largo del tiempo, en numerosas culturas. Las representaciones que conocemos hoy en d\u00eda, han experimentado diversos cambios en la evoluci\u00f3n, tanto conceptual como morfol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n

La mitolog\u00eda marina comprende numerosos personajes que han marcado un antes y un despu\u00e9s no s\u00f3lo en la historia de la navegaci\u00f3n, sino en la propia cultura general de cada comunidad.<\/p>\n

El ser humano, asociaba el mar con amenazas y peligros, debido a que, por su desconocimiento en su momento, resultaba un lugar misterioso. Esta idea influy\u00f3 en la creaci\u00f3n de criaturas que emerg\u00edan de las profundidades y que eran las protagonistas de decoraciones en embarcaciones e incluso mapas como s\u00edmbolo de advertencia o protecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En Ocean Art Project, contamos con la estimable colaboraci\u00f3n de la investigadora y Dra. en Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales, Juana Bernal, especialista en iconograf\u00eda.<\/p>\n

El 15 de febrero, Juana Bernal ser\u00e1 la protagonista en el pr\u00f3ximo Hoy Navegamos Con\u2026<\/em> En este encuentro, hablar\u00e1 de la mitolog\u00eda marina como patrimonio cultural y de las sirenas, como parte de las traves\u00edas de los navegantes a lo largo de la historia.<\/p>\n

El encuentro se realizar\u00e1 el 15 de febrero a las 11:00h de manera online, a trav\u00e9s de la plataforma Teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mythology,<\/strong> as well as iconography, has been present throughout time in numerous cultures. The representations we know today have undergone various changes in evolution, both conceptually and morphologically.<\/p>\n

Marine mythology includes numerous characters that have marked a before and after not only in the history of navigation, but also in the general culture of each community.
\nHumans associated the sea with threats and dangers, due to the fact that, at the time, it was a mysterious place because of the lack of knowledge about it. This idea influenced the creation of creatures that emerged from the depths and were the protagonists of decorations on boats and even maps as a symbol of warning or protection.<\/p>\n

In Ocean Art Project, we have the valuable collaboration of the researcher and Dr. in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Juana Bernal, a specialist in iconography.
\nOn 15 February, Juana Bernal will be the protagonist in the next Hoy Navegamos Con… In this meeting, she will talk about marine mythology as cultural heritage and about mermaids, as part of the voyages of sailors throughout history.<\/p>\n
