YA DISPONIBLE “HOY NAVEGAMOS CON… JUANA BERNAL”<\/h3>\t\t\t

Ayer, 16 de febrero, tuvo lugar la primera charla Hoy navegamos con\u2026<\/em><\/strong> de este 2024. La invitada fue Juana Bernal Navarro<\/strong>, doctora en Bellas Artes, con especialidad en Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales y, en concreto, iconograf\u00eda cristiana.<\/p>\n

Juana Bernal forma parte del equipo de investigaci\u00f3n de Ocean Art Project, proyecto de C\u00e1tedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV, destinado a la divulgaci\u00f3n del conocimiento del patrimonio cultural y natural marino en infancia y juventud.<\/p>\n

Durante el encuentro, que tuvo lugar en el Departamento de Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales de la Facultad de Bellas Artes (UPV), Juana habl\u00f3 sobre la importancia de la mitolog\u00eda y las im\u00e1genes de la misma en la historia del mar.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, se compartieron unas im\u00e1genes que apoyaron el discurso de la especialista en cuanto a la evoluci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica y conceptual de las sirenas a lo largo de la historia; as\u00ed como la importancia de esta figura para los navegantes y el sentido del g\u00e9nero femenino de las criaturas.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, 16 February, the first talk Hoy navegamos con… (Today we sail with…)<\/em><\/strong> of this 2024 took place. The guest speaker was Juana Bernal Navarro<\/strong>, PhD in Fine Arts, specialising in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and, specifically, Christian iconography.<\/p>\n

Juana Bernal is part of the research team of the Ocean Art Project, a project of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV, aimed at disseminating knowledge of marine cultural and natural heritage among children and young people.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, which took place at the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the Faculty of Fine Arts (UPV), Juana spoke about the importance of mythology and its images in the history of the sea.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, some images were shared that supported the specialist’s speech regarding the morphological and conceptual evolution of mermaids throughout history; as well as the importance of this figure for sailors and the sense of the feminine gender of the creatures.<\/p>\n
