Esta efem\u00e9ride conmemora la lucha de las mujeres por su participaci\u00f3n en la sociedad, en igualdad con el hombre.<\/p>\n<p>Clara Zetkin, pol\u00edtica alemana, propuso el D\u00eda de la Mujer Trabajadora y se aprob\u00f3 en la II Conferencia Internacional de Mujeres Socialistas que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Copenhague en 1910. De esta manera, la primera conmemoraci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 el 19 de marzo de 1911 en Alemania, Austria, Dinamarca y Suiza. No fue hasta 1975 que la ONU reconoci\u00f3 este D\u00eda de manera oficial. Seg\u00fan argumenta la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas, esta fecha se encuentra estrechamente relacionada a los movimientos feministas de la Revoluci\u00f3n Rusa de 1917.<\/p>\n<p>Desde hace m\u00e1s de 100 a\u00f1os, el 8 de marzo es un d\u00eda en el que se conmemora el derecho conquistado por las mujeres en todos los \u00e1mbitos sociales y laborales a trav\u00e9s de una larga historia de luchas y sacrificios para conseguirlos.<\/p>\n<p>El viernes 8 de marzo de 1857 las trabajadoras del sector textil de Nueva York salieron a las calles en una de las primeras huelgas organizadas que se recuerdan para exigir jornadas laborales m\u00e1s cortas y salarios m\u00e1s dignos. Estas marchas dieron paso a la creaci\u00f3n de activistas feministas y una conciencia colectiva que pretend\u00eda luchar por la igualdad de la mujer en una sociedad en la que no ten\u00eda demasiado espacio.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de la Revoluci\u00f3n, Rusia segu\u00eda utilizando el calendario juliano, el cual fue implementado por el emperador romano Julio C\u00e9sar 46 a\u00f1os antes del nacimiento de Jesucristo. Sin embargo, no fue hasta la introducci\u00f3n del calendario gregoriano por el papa Gregorio XIII en 1582 que se corrigieron los errores del calendario juliano. Hoy en d\u00eda, la gran mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses emplean el calendario gregoriano. Por lo tanto, en 1917, el 23 de febrero en Rusia coincid\u00eda con el 8 de marzo en los dem\u00e1s pa\u00edses europeos.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, esta efem\u00e9ride sirve para reconocer la lucha de las mujeres durante la historia de la humanidad y pretende crear conciencia en los numerosos cambios positivos hacia la mujer, que todav\u00eda hay que adoptar para conseguir una sociedad igualitaria.<\/p>\n<p>__<\/p>\n<p>Today, March 8 is International\u00a0<strong>Working Women\u2019s Day.<\/strong>\u00a0This event commemorates the struggle of women for their participation in society, on an equal footing with men.<\/p>\n<p>Clara Zetkin, a German politician, proposed the International Working Women\u2019s Day and it was approved at the II International Conference of Socialist Women held in Copenhagen in 1910. Thus, the first commemoration was held on March 19, 1911 in Germany, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland. It was not until 1975 that the UN officially recognized this Day. According to the United Nations, this date is closely related to the feminist movements of the Russian Revolution of 1917.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 100 years, March 8 has been a day to commemorate the rights won by women in all social and labor fields through a long history of struggles and sacrifices to achieve them.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, March 8, 1857, women textile workers in New York took to the streets in one of the first organized strikes in living memory to demand shorter working hours and more dignified wages. These marches gave way to the creation of feminist activists and a collective consciousness that sought to fight for women\u2019s equality in a society in which they had little place.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Revolution, Russia still used the Julian calendar, which was implemented by the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar 46 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. However, it was not until the introduction of the Gregorian calendar by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 that the errors of the Julian calendar were corrected. Today, the vast majority of countries use the Gregorian calendar. Therefore, in 1917, February 23 in Russia coincided with March 8 in other European countries.<\/p>\n<p>Today, this holiday serves to recognize the struggle of women throughout the history of mankind and aims to raise awareness of the many positive changes for women that still need to be adopted to achieve an egalitarian society.<\/p>\n<p>__<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>8M.
