MESA REDONDA: MUJERES EN LA GESTIÓN: CONSERVACIÓN Y DIFUSIÓN DEL PATRIMONIO CULTURAL ¡YA DISPONIBLE!
El 13 de marzo de 2025, en conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Mujer, se llevó a cabo la mesa redonda titulada "Mujeres en la gestión, conservación y difusión del patrimonio cultural". Este evento fue organizado conjuntamente por el Instituto Universitario de Restauración del Patrimonio (IRP) y la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
Durante la jornada, destacadas profesionales compartieron sus experiencias y reflexiones sobre el papel fundamental de las mujeres en la preservación y promoción del patrimonio cultural. Entre las participantes se encontraron:

Pilar Roig Picazo, Catedrática del Departamento de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales de la UPV.

Mª Teresa Espejo Arias, Directora del Secretariado de Conservación y Restauración de la Universidad de Granada.

Gemma Mª Contreras Zamorano, Directora del Institut Valencià de Conservació, Restauració i Investigació (IVCR+I).

María Victoria Vivancos Ramón, Directora de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la UPV.
El encuentro proporcionó un espacio de diálogo y reflexión sobre los desafíos y avances en la equidad de género dentro del ámbito patrimonial. Se abordaron temas relacionados con la contribución de las mujeres en la investigación, gestión y divulgación del patrimonio cultural, así como su impacto en la preservación de la memoria histórica y la identidad de las comunidades.

ROUND TABLE: WOMEN IN MANAGEMENT: CONSERVATION AND DISSEMINATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE NOW AVAILABLE!
On March 13, 2025, in commemoration of International Women's Day, a round table discussion entitled “Women in the management, conservation and dissemination of cultural heritage” was held. This event was jointly organized by the University Institute of Heritage Restoration (IRP) and the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
During the day, leading professionals shared their experiences and reflections on the fundamental role of women in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Among the participants were:

The meeting provided a space for dialogue and reflection on the challenges and advances in gender equity within the heritage field. It addressed issues related to the contribution of women in research, management and dissemination of cultural heritage, as well as its impact on the preservation of historical memory and identity of communities.
