OCEAN ART PROJECT EN LA FIRA DELS INVENTS UPV 2025

En un ambiente vibrante de innovación y conciencia ambiental, Ocean Art Project participó con gran éxito en la Fira dels Invents UPV 2025, celebrada este viernes en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, en el espacio ubicado bajo L’Umbracle. La iniciativa, centrada en la conservación marina, atrajo la atención de visitantes de todas las edades con una propuesta tan creativa como comprometida.

Uno de los principales focos de la participación fue la presentación de muestras de tintes naturales como alternativa sostenible a los tintes químicos, ampliamente utilizados en la industria textil y responsables de una elevada contaminación en mares y océanos. Esta demostración no solo evidenció el potencial artístico y ecológico de los tintes naturales, sino que también invitó a reflexionar sobre el impacto cotidiano de nuestras decisiones de consumo.

Además, el stand de Ocean Art Project contó con una mesa de divulgación donde se expusieron todas las publicaciones y materiales educativos desarrollados hasta la fecha por el proyecto. Tanto los más pequeños como los adultos se acercaron a disfrutar de actividades y contenidos que promovían la sostenibilidad, el arte y la ciencia como pilares fundamentales para proteger nuestro patrimonio marino.

Con su participación, Ocean Art Project reafirmó su compromiso con la educación ambiental y la creatividad como motores del cambio hacia un futuro más respetuoso con nuestros océanos.

In a vibrant atmosphere of innovation and environmental awareness, Ocean Art Project participated with great success in the Fira dels Invents UPV 2025, held this Friday at the City of Arts and Sciences, in the space located under L’Umbracle. The initiative, focused on marine conservation, attracted the attention of visitors of all ages with a proposal as creative as it was committed.

One of the main focuses of participation was the presentation of samples of natural dyes as a sustainable alternative to chemical dyes, widely used in the textile industry and responsible for high pollution in seas and oceans. This demonstration not only demonstrated the artistic and ecological potential of natural dyes, but also invited us to reflect on the daily impact of our consumption decisions.

In addition, the Ocean Art Project’s stand included an outreach table where all the publications and educational materials developed to date by the project were displayed. Both children and adults came to enjoy activities and contents that promoted sustainability, art and science as fundamental pillars to protect our marine heritage.

With their participation, Ocean Art Project reaffirmed its commitment to environmental education and creativity as drivers of change towards a more respectful future for our oceans.
