CONFERENCIA INTERNACIONAL EN NÁPOLES

La Directora de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV, María Victoria Vivancos Ramón, fue invitada a participar en la Conferencia Internacional “Habitar el espacio: representación y salvaguardia de su patrimonio material e inmaterial” el 17 de octubre de 2023 en Nápoles (Italia).

Esta conferencia se ha organizado con motivo del vigésimo aniversario de la Convención para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial -adoptada el 17 de octubre de 2003, por la 32ª reunión de la Conferencia General de la UNESCO- para reflexionar sobre el papel de este acontecimiento en la sensibilización sobre la diversidad y riqueza del patrimonio cultural inmaterial y en el fomento de la cooperación internacional.

Este evento también ha servido como Conferencia preliminar al XXII Foro Internacional de Estudios “La Vie dei Mercanti”, que se celebrará en mayo de 2024 en Capri, Italia.

En este primer encuentro, la Directora de la Cátedra pudo mostrar todas las actividades realizadas en la organización, así como presentar el proyecto que depende de la misma -Ocean Art Project- que se centra en la divulgación del conocimiento del Patrimonio Cultural y Natural Marino, tangible e intangible, en infancia y juventud. Este acontecimiento también ha permitido el acercamiento y el inicio de nuevas relaciones entre las Cátedras Hermanas asistentes al evento que desembocará en futuras colaboraciones.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN NAPLES

The Director of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV, María Victoria Vivancos Ramón, was invited to participate in the International Conference “Inhabiting Space: Representation and Safeguarding of its Tangible and Intangible Heritage” on October 17, 2023 in Naples (Italy).

This conference was organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage – adopted on October 17, 2003, by the 32nd session of UNESCO’s General Conference – to reflect on the role of this event in raising awareness of the diversity and richness of intangible cultural heritage and in fostering international cooperation.

This event also served as a preliminary conference for the XXII International Forum of Studies “La Vie dei Mercanti”, to be held in May 2024 in Capri, Italy.

In this first meeting, the Director of the Chair was able to show all the activities carried out in the organization, as well as to present the project that depends on it -Ocean Art Project- which focuses on the dissemination of knowledge of the Cultural and Natural Marine Heritage, tangible and intangible, in childhood and youth. This event has also allowed the rapprochement and the beginning of new relationships between the Sister Chairs attending the event that will lead to future collaborations.
