CURSO DE TINTES NATURALES PARA PROFESORADO DE LA CV

El proyecto Ocean Art Project, perteneciente a Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València, presenta como objetivo principal, la divulgación del patrimonio cultural y natural marino, así como la concienciación del cuidado de los mares y océanos en la infancia y juventud.

Con la finalidad de lograr este objetivo y conseguir el mayor impacto posible, se pretende crear una red que permita llegar al máximo número de jóvenes e infantes posible. Para ello, se ha organizado un curso a través del Servicio de Formación del Profesorado de la Generalitat Valenciana.

Este taller, titulado “ODS 14. Los tintes naturales para la conservación sostenible del medio marino” es ofertado por el CEFIRE Específic d’Àmbit Científic, Tecnològic i Matemàtic e impartido por María Victoria Vivancos, Directora de Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV.

Este curso presenta una duración de 10 horas y han sido ofertadas 20 plazas, pese a haber más de 40 inscripciones realizadas. El taller se realiza en el Instituto de Restauración del Patrimonio (UPV).

Los objetivos principales de esta iniciativa son crear una conciencia medioambiental sobre los problemas que afectan a nuestro entorno y promoverla entre la comunidad educativa; proporcionar herramientas y conocimientos para extraer y utilizar tintes naturales a partir de productos de uso cotidiano y concienciar sobre la necesidad del cuidado de nuestros mares, haciendo un uso sostenible de los recursos.

En este curso, los docentes han podido participar de manera presencial en el taller y aprender que muchos residuos que generamos a diario, pueden ser reutilizados para técnicas artísticas y creadoras. Ahora, con todo ese conocimiento, el profesorado de infantil y primaria, -sector al que iba dirigido el curso- podrá realizar actividades en sus centros y ser el mejor nexo de unión, para que, todos estos objetivos se promuevan entre los más jóvenes y pequeños, que son, objetivamente hablando, el futuro de nuestra sociedad.

The Ocean Art Project, which belongs to the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the Universitat Politècnica de València, has as its main objective the dissemination of marine cultural and natural heritage, as well as raising awareness of the care of the seas and oceans among children and young people.

This workshop, entitled “SDG 14. Natural dyes for the sustainable conservation of the marine environment” is offered by the CEFIRE Específic d’Àmbit Científic, Tecnològic i Matemàtic and taught by María Victoria Vivancos, Director of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV.

This course has a duration of 10 hours and 20 places have been offered, despite the fact that more than 40 registrations have been made. The workshop will be held at the Heritage Restoration Institute (UPV).

The main objectives of this initiative are to create environmental awareness of the problems affecting our environment and to promote it among the educational community; to provide tools and knowledge to extract and use natural dyes from everyday products and to raise awareness of the need to care for our seas, making sustainable use of resources.

In this course, teachers have been able to participate in the workshop and learn that much of the waste we generate every day can be reused for artistic and creative techniques. Now, with all this knowledge, the infant and primary school teachers – the sector at which the course was aimed – will be able to carry out activities in their schools and be the best link so that all these objectives are promoted among the youngest and smallest, who are, objectively speaking, the future of our society.
