La Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València se suma con fuerza a MONDIACULT 2025, la gran conferencia mundial sobre política cultural organizada por UNESCO, que reúne a miles de participantes de todo el mundo para diseñar la agenda global de la cultura en los próximos años.
En este contexto, nos complace anunciar tres puntos importantes de la Cátedra:

Nuestra directora, María Victoria Vivancos, asistirá a este encuentro internacional aportando la visión y el compromiso de la Cátedra en torno a un patrimonio cultural más inclusivo, sostenible y transformador.
MONDIACULT 2025 marca un hito con debates integradores en 6 ejes temáticos y 2 áreas clave, que abren nuevos caminos para el futuro de la cultura y allí estaremos, para seguir aportando nuestro granito de arena.
📅 Evento previo: un espacio para la reflexión y el diálogo
En el marco de la Conferencia Mundial sobre Política Cultural MONDIACULT, te invitamos a asistir a la jornada "Desafíos en el desarrollo de proyectos más inclusivos y sostenibles del patrimonio cultural". Esta sesión busca reflexionar sobre los retos a los que se enfrentan los proyectos de conservación del patrimonio cultural, para alinearse con los principios de inclusión, sostenibilidad y diversidad cultural, tal y como promueve la Declaración de MONDIACULT.
Será sin duda, un espacio para el diálogo, el intercambio de experiencias y la construcción colectiva de soluciones que fortalezcan el papel transformador de la cultura en sociedades más resilientes, justas y sostenibles.

📚 Biblioteca Digital MONDIACULT 2025: nuestra aportación
Además, desde la Cátedra UNESCO Forum y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València, participamos en la Biblioteca Digital de MONDIACULT 2025 con la colección de cinco guías educativas publicadas en 2024 dentro de la serie Sanando los Océanos con la Cultura.
Estas publicaciones enmarcadas dentro de Ocean Art Project, un proyecto I+D+i liderado desde esta misma Cátedra, están diseñadas para sensibilizar a la comunidad, sobre la importancia de proteger nuestros ecosistemas marinos. A través del arte y el patrimonio cultural, estas guías promueven el aprendizaje interdisciplinar y el compromiso con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), destacando el papel de la cultura en la preservación del medio ambiente, como ejemplo del poder transformador de la cultura.
Our UNESCO Chair at MONDIACULT 2025
The UNESCO Chair Forum, University and Cultural Heritage of the Universitat Politècnica de València joins MONDIACULT 2025 with strength and commitment. This major world conference on cultural policy, organized by UNESCO, brings together thousands of participants from across the globe to design the global cultural agenda for the coming years.
In this context, we are pleased to announce three key contributions from the Chair:

Our Director, María Victoria Vivancos, will attend this international gathering, bringing the vision and commitment of the Chair towards a cultural heritage that is more inclusive, sustainable, and transformative. MONDIACULT 2025 marks a milestone with integrative debates across six thematic axes and two key areas, opening new pathways for the future of culture. We will be there, continuing to contribute our grain of sand to this global effort.

It will undoubtedly be a space for dialogue, exchange of experiences, and collective construction of solutions that strengthen the transformative role of culture in building more resilient, just, and sustainable societies.

📚 MONDIACULT 2025 Digital Library: our contribution
In addition, the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage at the Universitat Politècnica de València will contribute to the MONDIACULT 2025 Digital Library with a collection of five educational guides published in 2024 as part of the Healing the Oceans through Culture series.
These publications, developed under the Ocean Art Project, an R&D+i initiative led by the Chair, are designed to raise awareness in the community about the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems.
Through art and cultural heritage, these guides foster interdisciplinary learning and engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the role of culture in environmental preservation as a powerful example of its transformative capacity.
