NUEVA FECHA PARA EL II ENCUENTRO DE CÁTEDRAS IBEROAMERICANAS EN PATRIMONIO CULTURAL
El Segundo Encuentro Internacional de Cátedras UNESCO en Patrimonio Cultural, inicialmente programado para octubre de 2024, se celebrará finalmente el 13 y 14 de junio de 2025 en la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). El evento tuvo que ser aplazado debido a los estragos causados por la DANA que afectó a la ciudad de Valencia, generando importantes daños materiales y afectando la organización del encuentro.
Bajo el lema “Buenas prácticas en patrimonio cultural”, este evento reunirá a expertos, académicos y representantes de Cátedras UNESCO de toda Iberoamérica para debatir sobre estrategias innovadoras en la conservación y gestión del patrimonio cultural. El objetivo principal es compartir experiencias y fomentar la colaboración internacional en la protección del legado cultural.
La Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio, organizadora del evento, agradeció la comprensión y el apoyo de los participantes ante la reprogramación. Además, destacó la importancia de este encuentro como una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre los retos actuales en el ámbito patrimonial, especialmente en contextos de crisis climática.
Las inscripciones para el evento se reabrirán próximamente, y la organización invita a todos los interesados a participar en esta cita clave para el patrimonio cultural a nivel global.
NEW DATE FOR THE SECOND MEETING OF IBEROAMERICAN CHAIRS IN CULTURAL HERITAGE
The Second International Meeting of UNESCO Chairs in Cultural Heritage, initially scheduled for October 2024, will finally be held on June 13 and 14, 2025 at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The event had to be postponed due to the ravages caused by the DANA that affected the city of Valencia, generating significant material damage and affecting the organization of the meeting.
Under the slogan “Good practices in cultural heritage”, this event will bring together experts, academics and representatives of UNESCO Chairs from all over Ibero-America to discuss innovative strategies in the conservation and management of cultural heritage. The main objective is to share experiences and foster international collaboration in the protection of cultural heritage.
The UNESCO Chair Forum University and Heritage, organizer of the event, thanked the participants for their understanding and support for the rescheduling. It also stressed the importance of this meeting as an opportunity to reflect on the current challenges in the field of heritage, especially in the context of climate crisis.
