OCEAN STREETART FESTIVAL
Ocean Art Project, un proyecto de investigación perteneciente a Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València, organiza el primer Ocean StreetArt Festival, llamando a los jóvenes de la Comunidad Valenciana a plasmar en uno de los muros de la Universitat Politècnica de València, un mensaje urgente en relación con el estado de salud de nuestros mares y océanos. La convocatoria se encuentra abierta hasta el 30 de abril.
Para la realización del festival, el proyecto se ha inspirado en POLINIZA DOS, festrival internacional de Arte Urbano, que se lleva convocando desde el año 2012 en la UPV. Este festival cuenta con un enorme prestigio internacional donde han participado artistas como Pastel (Argentina), Himed & Reyben (México), Eliote (Francia), Emily Eldridge (Alemania) o Slim Safont (España), Blu (Italia), Escif (España) , Hyuro (Argentina), Milu Correch (Argentina), Inti (Chile), Aryz (EE.UU.), Alexis Diaz (Cuba), Bastardilla (Colombia), Lula Goce (España), Eltono (Francia), (EE.UU.), Julieta (España), entre muchos más.
Ocean StreetART Festival, es un certamen artístico abierto a los centros educativos de la Comunidad Valenciana, acotando la participación al último curso del segundo ciclo de la ESO (4º), a todas las modalidades de Bachillerato y a todos los Ciclos Formativos.
Consiste en un certamen artístico en el que un grupo de estudiantes de un centro educativo de la Comunidad Valenciana tendrá la oportunidad de venir a la Universitat Politècnica de València durante varias jornadas, a pintar un mural en uno de los muros que se encuentra en la Facultad de Bellas Artes del campus de Vera de la ciudad de València. Durante esos días los estudiantes ganadores, además de plasmar su boceto en un muro, disfrutarán de la experiencia de conocer a otros artistas profesionales de arte urbano que de manera paralela participarán en el festival.
Se trata de una experiencia única y muy enriquecedora en la cual, no solamente podréis expresar vuestro mensaje y compromiso con el cuidado de nuestros mares y océanos, y así aportar vuestro granito de arena para alcanzar un mundo mejor, sino que también podréis aprender de artistas y vivir una experiencia universitaria inolvidable.

Ocean Art Project, a research project belonging to the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage of the Universitat Politècnica de València, organizes the first Ocean StreetArt Festival, calling young people from the Valencian Community to capture on one of the walls of the Universitat Politècnica de València, an urgent message regarding the state of health of our seas and oceans. Ocean StreetART Festival, is an artistic contest open to schools in the Valencian Community, limiting participation to the last year of the second cycle of ESO (4th), to all modalities of Bachillerato and all the Formative Cycles.
It consists of an artistic contest in which a group of students from an educational center of the Valencian Community will have the opportunity to come to the Universitat Politècnica de València for several days to paint a mural on one of the walls located in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Vera campus in the city of Valencia. During those days the winning students, in addition to capture his sketch on a wall, will enjoy the experience of meeting other professional artists of urban art that will participate in parallel in the festival.
This is a unique and very enriching experience in which you will not only be able to express your message and commitment to the care of our seas and oceans, and thus contribute your bit to achieve a better world, but you can also learn from artists and live an unforgettable university experience.
