NUEVO ARTÍCULO YA DISPONIBLE
Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural y el proyecto que lidera -Ocean Art Project-, han publicad un nuevo artículo en Abitare la Terra – Dwelling on Earth-.
El documento, publicado en inglés bajo el título “Marine Cultural Heritage as a Bridge of Concord: Portolan Cartographies”, pone de manifiesto la importancia de la cartografía y de los instrumentos utilizados durante siglos para conocer y navegar el mar. El mar Mediterráneo ha sido, y es considerado como unión de culturas y civilizaciones y conocer las normas de navegación y los secretos del mar ha jugado siempre a favor del sentido de la propiedad, el comercio y la economía.

UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage and the project it leads -Ocean Art Project-, have published a new article in Abitare la Terra – Dwelling on Earth-.
The document, published in English under the title “Marine Cultural Heritage as a Bridge of Concord: Portolan Cartographies”, highlights the importance of cartography and the instruments used for centuries to learn about and navigate the sea. The Mediterranean Sea has been, and is considered to be, a junction of cultures and civilizations and knowing the rules of navigation and the secrets of the sea has always played in favor of the sense of ownership, trade and economy.
