PROPUESTA EN ICC BOOK CLUB: “A THEORY OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. BEYOND THE INTANGIBLE”

El IIC Book Club, iniciativa del International Institute for Conservation (IIC) dedicada a la lectura y el debate en torno a publicaciones sobre patrimonio cultural y su conservación, ha anunciado el libro elegido para este semestre: A Theory of Cultural Heritage. Beyond the Intangible, del investigador y conservador Salvador Muñoz Viñas, quien además es colaborador de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural.

Esta selección representa un reconocimiento a la contribución académica y teórica de Muñoz Viñas en el ámbito de la conservación del patrimonio. Su libro plantea una perspectiva innovadora sobre la conceptualización del patrimonio cultural, desafiando la dicotomía tradicional entre lo tangible y lo intangible. A través de su análisis, el autor propone una visión más holística e integradora, abordando la complejidad de los valores culturales y su influencia en los procesos de conservación.

Beyond the Intangible, by the renowned researcher and conservator Salvador Muñoz Viñas, who is also a collaborator of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage.
