Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV organiza el taller “Artesanía sostenible y culturas creativas: serigrafía con colores naturales” los días 11 y 12 de noviembre de 2022 bajo la dirección de Victoria Vivancos Ramón.
Este curso, enlazado a OceanArt Project, presenta como objetivos unificar y compatibilizar en la práctica la artesanía, creatividad y sostenibilidad haciendo uso de la innovación en el patrimonio cultural artístico; conocer métodos básicos de extracción de colores naturales y preparación para llevar a cabo su aplicación en serigrafía y aprender a trabajar el papel y el textil con materiales sostenibles y respetuosos con el medioambiente.
El taller, destinado a un público general, será impartido por Jonay Nicolás Cogollos Van Der Linden -técnico superior de laboratorio especialista en técnicas serigráficas y docente en la Universitat Politècnica de València- y Victoria Vivancos Ramón -Directora de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum UPV-. Además, tendrá lugar en el taller de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum UPV.
¿Qué aprenderás en este curso?
- La materia de los colores naturales y su tradición histórica.
- Extracción de colores a partir de plantas y otros materiales de desperdicio que nos rodean.
- La serigrafía como medio de creación artística y artesanal: formas de estampación milenaria.
- Creación de la imagen y estudio de las técnicas de elaboración de imágenes.
- Experimentación sobre papel y textil.

COURSE "SUSTAINABLE CRAFTS AND CREATIVE CULTURES: SCREEN PRINTING WITH NATURAL COLORS"
UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV organizes the workshop "Sustainable crafts and creative cultures: screen printing with natural colors" on 11th and 12th November 2022 under the direction of Victoria Vivancos Ramón.
This course, linked to OceanArt Project, aims to unify and make craftsmanship, creativity and sustainability compatible in practice by making use of innovation in the artistic cultural heritage; to learn basic methods of extraction of natural colors and preparation to carry out their application in screen printing and to learn to work with paper and textiles with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
The workshop, aimed at a general audience, will be taught by Jonay Nicolás Cogollos Van Der Linden -senior laboratory technician specializing in screen printing techniques and professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València- and Victoria Vivancos Ramón -Director of the UNESCO Forum UPV Chair-. In addition, it will take place in the atelier of the UNESCO Forum UPV Chair.
