NUEVO ENCUENTRO EN OCEAN ART PROJECT
El pasado lunes 5 de junio, la Directora de la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV y de Ocean Art Project, María Victoria Vivancos Ramón se reunió con Miguel Jover Cerdá.
Miguel Jover Cerdá es Doctor ingeniero Agrónomo, Catedrático de Acuicultura y Director del Máster en Acuicultura y del máster online en Producciones Acuícolas. Pertenece al Grupo de Acuicultura y Biodiversidad en el Instituto Universitario de Ciencia y Tecnología Animal de la UPV.
Miguel forma parte del equipo profesional de ThinkinAzul incluido en el Work Package (WP) de Nutrición y Bienestar, teniendo como objetivo mejorarla nutrición de los animales en producción mediante nuevas formulaciones de piensos basadas en mezclas de materias primas alternativas. Para perseguir este objetivo, la tarea principal es el desarrollo de piensos sostenibles para camarón, optimizando la producción del camarón en biofloc con piensos ecológicos.
Miguel Jover, además de contarnos acerca de su proyecto, visitó el mural realizado por los estudiantes del IES L’Eliana del 22 al 26 de mayo.
Establecer contacto con los compañeros del proyecto es la mejor estrategia para remar hacia nuestro objetivo común: proteger y conservar nuestros mares y océanos.

NEW MEETING AT OCEAN ART PROJECT
Last Monday, June 5, the Director of the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV and Ocean Art Project, met with Miguel Jover Cerdá.
Miguel Jover Cerdá is Doctor in Agricultural Engineering, Professor of Aquaculture and Director of the Master in Aquaculture and the online Master in Aquaculture Production. He belongs to the Aquaculture and Biodiversity Group at the University Institute of Animal Science and Technology of the UPV.
Miguel is part of the ThinkinAzul professional team included in the Nutrition and Welfare Work Package (WP), aiming to improve the nutrition of production animals through new feed formulations based on alternative raw material mixtures. To pursue this objective, the main task is the development of sustainable feed for shrimp, optimizing shrimp production in biofloc with organic feed.
Miguel Jover, besides telling us about his project, visited the mural made by the students of IES L’Eliana from May 22 to 26.
Establishing contact with project partners is the best strategy to row towards our common goal: to protect and conserve our seas and oceans.
