OCEAN ART PROJECT EN LA FERIA DE LOS INVENTOS UPV 2025

Ocean Art Project, iniciativa impulsada por la Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural de la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) y enmarcada dentro del programa ThinkInAzul, participará activamente en la Feria de los Inventos UPV 2025, que se celebrará el próximo 9 de mayo de 2025, de 10:00 a 20:00 horas, en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia.

Con el firme propósito de acercar el Patrimonio Cultural y Natural Marino, tanto tangible como intangible, a la infancia y juventud, Ocean Art Project se ha consolidado en los últimos tres años como una propuesta educativa y artística de referencia. Su participación en la feria será una oportunidad única para conocer de cerca los recursos desarrollados durante el proyecto, enfocados en la divulgación y la sensibilización sobre los ecosistemas marinos y su valor patrimonial.

En su stand, los visitantes podrán explorar una muestra interactiva de los materiales pedagógicos y artísticos elaborados a lo largo del proyecto, además de participar en un taller práctico sobre tintes naturales, donde se abordará el uso de recursos sostenibles y se promoverá la conciencia medioambiental entre los más jóvenes.

Todo ello bajo el marco de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030, reafirmando el compromiso del proyecto con la sostenibilidad, la educación inclusiva y la conservación del medio marino.

Ocean Art Project invita a toda la comunidad universitaria, educativa y familiar a sumarse a esta experiencia, donde el arte, la ciencia y el patrimonio se dan la mano para construir un futuro más azul y más consciente.

Ocean Art Project, an initiative led by the UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and supported by the ThinkInAzul program, will actively participate in the UPV Invention Fair 2025, to be held on May 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.

With the goal of raising awareness about Tangible and Intangible Marine Cultural and Natural Heritage among children and young people, Ocean Art Project has become a key educational and artistic initiative over the past three years. Its participation in the fair offers a unique opportunity to explore the resources developed throughout the project, aimed at spreading knowledge and encouraging respect for marine ecosystems and their cultural value.

At their booth, visitors will discover an interactive exhibition of educational and artistic materials created during the project, and take part in a hands-on workshop on natural dyes, where sustainable practices will be highlighted and environmental awareness promoted among younger generations.

All activities are framed within the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, reaffirming the project’s commitment to sustainability, inclusive education, and marine conservation.
