“RE-CONOCIENDO EL PATRIMONIO ESPAÑOL EN EUROPA”
El pasado 12 de septiembre tuvo lugar la inauguración de la exposición “Re-conociendo el Patrimonio Español en Europa”.
España figura entre los cinco países del mundo con más monumentos declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO (con 49 elementos). Además, es el país que más Premios Europeos de Patrimonio/Premios Europa Nostra ha recibido. Desde 1978, 219 monumentos españoles han sido reconocidos y galardonados.
Haciendo coincidir el evento con la presidencia española de la Unión Europea, la asociación Hispania Nostra y Acción Cultural (AC/E) inauguraron en Bruselas, el pasado martes, 12 de septiembre, una exposición titulada “Re-conociendo el patrimonio español en Europa. En colaboración con el Instituto Cervantes, esta exhibición estará expuesta en la Biblioteca Lingüística del Edificio Lex de la capital belga hasta el 30 de octubre de 2023, continuando, posteriormente, su rumbo hacia ciudades como Roma o la Haya.
Entre 2016 y 2019, la exposición ha viajado por España y, en 2020 se trasladó a la Universidad de Tongji de Shangái (China), permitiendo acercar el patrimonio cultural español a un contexto socio-cultural distinto. Durante el mes de mayo de 2021, la exposición fue acogida en el instituto Cervantes en Beijing. Por otro lado, la exposición viajó e 2022 a Jerusalén con el Consulado General de España.

The inauguration of the exhibition “Re-cognizing Spanish Heritage in Europe” took place on September 12.
Spain is among the five countries in the world with the most monuments declared World Heritage by UNESCO (with 49 elements). It is also the country that has received the most European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards. Since 1978, 219 Spanish monuments have been recognized and awarded.
To coincide the event with the Spanish presidency of the European Union, the association Hispania Nostra and Acción Cultural (AC/E) inaugurated in Brussels, last Tuesday, September 12, an exhibition entitled “Re-cognizing the Spanish heritage in Europe. In collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes, this exhibition will be on display at the Linguistic Library of the Lex Building in the Belgian capital until 30 October 2023 and will then continue its journey to cities such as Rome and The Hague.
Between 2016 and 2019, the exhibition has traveled around Spain and, in 2020, it moved to Tongji University in Shanghai (China), bringing Spanish cultural heritage closer to a different socio-cultural context. During the month of May 2021, the exhibition was hosted at the Cervantes Institute in Beijing. On the other hand, the exhibition traveled to Jerusalem in 2022 with the Consulate General of Spain.
