ÉXITO EN LA PREMIERE OCEÁNICA
Ayer, 15 de noviembre, se llevó a cabo la Premiere Oceánica, organizada por Ocean Art Project y Cátedra UNESCO Forum Universidad y Patrimonio Cultural UPV, en el salón de actos de Rectorado de la Universitat Politècnica de València.
En este evento, se pudo ver una pequeña muestra de todo el recorrido de este primer año del proyecto. Con un aforo completo, se compartieron las distintas iniciativas en las que trabaja el equipo de Ocean Art Project. En primer lugar, se contó con la presencia de Laia, de Rebombori Cultural, colaboradora en el proyecto y gran comunicadora que compartió con todos nosotros un fragmento de la obra que está preparando para el proyecto. Se presentó también el proyecto realizado por el CEIP Carraixet de Almàssera y de Torrent, capitaneado por dos investigadoras del proyecto, Eva Pérez y Ma Ángeles López. Se proyectaron los distintos cortos realizados por los alumnos del último año del Grado en Diseño y Tecnologías Creativas, con los profesionales de la materia y encargados de las asignaturas específicas que permitieron desarrollar esta labor, Sara Álvarez, Miguel Vidal, Ignacio Meneu y Sergio Rodríguez. También se expusieron los pósteres de la iniciativa OceanGo! de la artista María Lucía Mosca, que permite concienciar a los más pequeños sobre los riesgos a los que se enfrentan nuestros mares y océanos. Además, en la sala contigua del salón de actos donde se celebró el evento, se pudo disfrutar de una muestra de todos los bocetos de los colegios que se presentaron al Ocean Street Art Festival 2023, y las ilustraciones de Jorge Sánchez, junto a la investigación de Juana Bernal en la iniciativa para colorear e ilustrar “De Sirenas Mitos y Trazos”.
El evento contó con la presencia de muchos investigadores que participan en el proyecto, así como colegas del ThinkInAzul, el Director del Instituto de Restauración del Patrimonio y el propio Rector de la Universidad, quienes tuvieron el placer de acompañarnos durante la tarde de ayer.
Esperamos que esta sea la primera edición de muchas de las muestras y que podamos seguir compartiéndola con artistas, amigos, familia y colegas del sector, defendiendo siempre el arte como una de las mejores herramientas para concienciar a la población, y en especial, a jóvenes y niños, de la importancia de cuidar nuestros mares y océanos.

Yesterday, November 15, took place the Oceanic Premiere, organized by Ocean Art Project and UNESCO Chair Forum University and Cultural Heritage UPV, in the auditorium of the Rectorate of the Universitat Politècnica de València.
In this event, it was possible to see a small sample of the whole journey of this first year of the project. With a full capacity, the different initiatives in which the Ocean Art Project team is working were shared. First of all, we had the presence of Laia, from Rebombori Cultural, collaborator in the project and great communicator who shared with all of us a fragment of the work she is preparing for the project. The project carried out by the CEIP Carraixet of Almàssera and Torrent, led by two researchers of the project, Eva Pérez and Ma Ángeles López, was also presented.
The different short films made by the students of the last year of the Degree in Design and Creative Technologies were screened, with the professionals of the subject and in charge of the specific subjects that allowed the development of this work, Sara Álvarez, Miguel Vidal, Ignacio Meneu and Sergio Rodríguez. Also on display were the posters of the OceanGo! initiative by artist María Lucía Mosca, which raises awareness among children about the risks facing our seas and oceans. In addition, in the adjoining room of the auditorium where the event was held, there was an exhibition of all the sketches of the schools that were submitted to the Ocean Street Art Festival 2023, and the illustrations of Jorge Sanchez, along with the research of Juana Bernal in the initiative to color and illustrate “De Sirenas Mitos y Trazos”.
The event was attended by many researchers involved in the project, as well as colleagues from ThinkInAzul, the Director of the Heritage Restoration Institute and the Rector of the University himself, who were pleased to join us yesterday afternoon.
We hope that this is the first edition of many of the exhibitions and that we can continue to share it with artists, friends, family and colleagues in the sector, always defending art as one of the best tools to raise awareness among the population, especially young people and children, of the importance of caring for our seas and oceans.
