OCEAN ART PROJECT Y CASA MEDITERRÁNEO

El equipo de Ocean Art Project se ha reunido hoy, 31 de octubre de 2022, con el director general de Casa Mediterráneo, don Andrés Perelló Rodríguez y subdirector adjunto don Ignacio de Juan.

Casa Mediterráneo es un consorcio público integrado por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación (MAUEC), la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), la Generalitat Valenciana, el Ayuntamiento de Alicante, el Ayuntamiento de Benidorm y la Diputación de Alicante.

Con sede en Alicante y fundada en 2009, Casa Mediterráneo es un instrumento de diplomacia pública que presenta como objetivo principal fomentar el conocimiento mutuo y el acercamiento entre España y el resto de países de la cuenca mediterránea en distintas áreas como la cultura, la economía, el cambio climático, la igualdad de género o la innovación científica y tecnológica.

Esta reunión ha sido un punto de inflexión en esta travesía en el que el objetivo principal ha sido abrir caminos para continuar persiguiendo el objetivo principal de Ocean Art Project y adquirir así, un lenguaje que permita acercar el patrimonio marino (cultural y natural) a niños y jóvenes.

OCEAN ART PROJECT AND CASA MEDITERRÁNEO

The Ocean Art Project team met today, October 31st, 2022, with the general director of Casa Mediterráneo, Mr. Andrés Perelló Rodríguez and deputy assistant director Mr. Ignacio de Juan.

Casa Mediterráneo is a public consortium formed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAUEC), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the Generalitat Valenciana, the City Council of Alicante, the City Council of Benidorm and the Provincial Council of Alicante.

Based in Alicante and founded in 2009, Casa Mediterráneo is an instrument of public diplomacy whose main objective is to promote mutual knowledge and rapprochement between Spain and the other countries of the Mediterranean basin in different areas such as culture, economy, climate change, gender equality or scientific and technological innovation.

This meeting has been a turning point in this journey in which the main objective has been to open ways to continue pursuing the main objective of Ocean Art Project and thus acquire a language that allows bringing the marine heritage (cultural and natural) to children and young people.
